Fully automated XAUUSD Expert Advisor with just 2 settings. Pick your risk profile, set your risk amount, and let it trade.

Golden Raven is a fully automated Expert Advisor designed for XAUUSD (Gold) on MetaTrader 5. It uses a multi-timeframe strategy with H1 trend bias and M30 Break of Structure entries to find trading setups in the gold market.

If you already use MT5Phoenix, think of Golden Raven as the streamlined version. Same core engine, but instead of dozens of inputs, you only configure 2 settings. Everything else is pre-tuned and regularly updated by me.

If you are new to my products, Golden Raven is a good starting point for automated gold trading. No experience with EA optimization needed.

Risk Profiles

Golden Raven comes with two configured risk profiles. Both profiles are monitored and updated regularly to adapt to changing market conditions.

Medium Risk (Conservative):

  • Around 50% win rate with moderate profit targets
  • ATR-based take profit for measured exits
  • Trend-following trailing stop
  • Conservative daily loss limit
  • Suited for steady growth and capital preservation

High Risk (Aggressive):

  • Around 28% win rate, but winning trades tend to be significantly larger
  • EMA-based exits that aim to ride trends longer
  • Tighter trailing stop to lock in profits on larger moves
  • Higher daily loss limit
  • Suited for patient traders who accept more frequent losses in exchange for larger winning trades

Win rate based on XAUUSD backtesting from January 2025 to March 2026. Past results do not guarantee future performance. Always backtest on your own broker data before trading live.

Requirements

  • Symbol: XAUUSD (Gold)
  • Chart Timeframe: M30
  • Account Type: Hedging or Netting
  • Minimum Balance: $500 (Medium Risk), $1,000+ (High Risk)
  • Leverage: 1:100 or higher recommended
  • Broker: Low spread broker recommended (ECN or Raw spread)
  • VPS recommended for uninterrupted operation

Flexible Risk Management

Golden Raven supports two risk modes to fit any account size:

  • Percentage of Balance - risk a percentage of your account per trade (e.g. 1%, 2%, 3%)
  • Fixed Dollar Amount - set an exact dollar amount to risk per trade (e.g. $10, $50, $100), useful for precise risk control regardless of account size

Quick Start

  1. Attach Golden Raven to an XAUUSD M30 chart
  2. Select your Risk Profile (Medium or High)
  3. Set your Risk Amount
  4. Enable Auto Trading
  5. The EA handles everything from there
