The Institutional-Grade Volume Analysis Tool for Serious Traders
What Is This Indicator?
Volume Profile & VWAP Master Pro brings the most powerful institutional trading tools directly to your chart. Professional traders at banks, hedge funds, and prop firms rely on Volume Profile and VWAP every single day to find high-probability entries, spot hidden support and resistance, and understand where the "smart money" is positioned.
This indicator combines seven professional modules into one seamless, highly configurable tool — giving retail traders access to the same analytical edge that was previously only available on expensive institutional platforms.
Why Volume Profile + VWAP?
Standard indicators like RSI, MACD, or Bollinger Bands only look at price and time. They ignore the most important dimension of the market: volume.
Volume Profile answers the question every serious trader asks:
"At which price level did the most trading activity occur?"
VWAP answers:
"What is the true average price, weighted by how much was actually traded?"
Together, these two tools reveal the market's real structure — where institutions are positioned, where liquidity is concentrated, and where price is likely to react.
Key Features
📊 VWAP with Standard Deviation Bands
The Volume Weighted Average Price is calculated fresh each session (Daily, Weekly, or Monthly — your choice). Unlike a simple moving average, VWAP weights each price by the volume traded at that level, giving you the true institutional benchmark price.
Three standard deviation bands (SD1, SD2, SD3) expand automatically with volatility:
- SD1 — Normal trading range. Price tends to stay inside.
- SD2 — Statistically stretched. Expect mean reversion or a strong breakout.
- SD3 — Extremely rare. Very high-probability reversal zone.
🎯 Point of Control (POC)
The single price level where the highest volume was traded during the session. The POC acts as a powerful magnet — price repeatedly returns to it because that is where the largest institutional orders were filled. It is the single most important level on your chart.
🟦 Value Area (VAH / VAL)
The price range containing 70% of all session volume. This concept comes directly from Market Profile theory. When price trades outside the Value Area and then re-enters, it statistically returns to the Point of Control. When price breaks out of the Value Area with volume, it signals a genuine directional move.
- VAH — Value Area High: upper boundary of the 70% zone
- VAL — Value Area Low: lower boundary of the 70% zone
📈 Visual Volume Histogram
A horizontal bar chart displayed directly on your main chart window, showing exactly how much volume was traded at each price level. At a glance, you can instantly see:
- High Volume Nodes (HVN) — thick bars, strong support/resistance
- Low Volume Nodes (LVN) — thin bars, price moves through these quickly with little resistance
- POC — highlighted in gold, the peak bar
🌍 Session VWAP (Asia / London / New York)
Each major trading session calculates its own independent VWAP. This reveals how different market participants (Asian institutions, European banks, American funds) are positioned relative to their own session benchmark. Session VWAP crossovers are excellent entry triggers.
⚡ Cumulative Delta
Tracks the running difference between buying volume and selling volume across the session. Rising cumulative delta with rising price confirms buyers are in control. Divergence between price and delta is an early warning of a potential reversal.
🕯️ Volume-Weighted Candle Coloring
Candles are automatically colored based on their volume relative to the session average:
- Bright green / bright red — above-average volume (institutional activity)
- Dark green / dark red — below-average volume (retail noise)
This lets you immediately distinguish high-conviction moves from low-volume chop.
