OVERVIEW
M1 GOLD SMARTFLOW is an algorithmic trading system designed specifically for XAUUSD (Gold) on the M1 (1-minute) timeframe.
The Expert Advisor evaluates programmed market structure, liquidity conditions, Liquidity Sweep detection, Fair Value Gap (FVG) analysis and momentum confirmation when identifying potential trading setups.
The EA continuously monitors XAUUSD price action and manages trade execution according to its programmed strategy, selected risk settings and automated trade-management rules.
TRADING LOGIC
M1 GOLD SMARTFLOW evaluates Liquidity Sweep, Fair Value Gap, market-structure and momentum conditions as part of its setup-confirmation process.
The EA can also evaluate higher-timeframe price direction as part of its programmed directional-bias logic.
The strategy combines multiple programmed conditions rather than relying on a single technical indicator or crossover signal.
MAIN ENTRY & OTE ENTRY
The EA uses a dual-entry structure consisting of a Main Entry and an optional OTE Entry.
The Main Entry represents the primary entry calculated from the detected trading setup.
The OTE Entry is an optional secondary entry positioned around the 50% retracement area of the setup.
Main Entry and OTE Entry can be enabled or disabled independently.
The Main setup remains the reference for the programmed Stop Loss and Take Profit calculations, including when only the OTE Entry is enabled.
Available configurations include:
- Main Entry only
- OTE Entry only
- Main Entry and OTE Entry together
RISK MANAGEMENT & TRADE MANAGEMENT
M1 GOLD SMARTFLOW supports several configurable position-sizing methods:
- Percentage risk per enabled entry
- Fixed account-currency risk
- Fixed lot size
- Shared percentage risk between enabled Main and OTE entries
When Shared Percentage Risk is selected and both entries are enabled, the selected total percentage risk is divided between the enabled entries.
The EA also includes automated trade-management functions such as Stop Loss management, Take Profit management, breakeven management, pending-order management, setup invalidation controls and execution-distance checks.
If a calculated position size is below the broker's minimum tradable volume, the EA may use the broker's minimum lot size. This can cause actual risk to exceed the selected percentage or fixed account-currency risk amount, particularly on smaller account balances.
Users should select risk settings appropriate for their own account size, broker conditions and risk tolerance.
TRADING CONDITIONS
M1 GOLD SMARTFLOW is designed specifically for XAUUSD on the M1 timeframe.
Because of the short-term nature of the strategy, spread, commission, execution speed, slippage, liquidity and broker conditions can affect trading results.
The EA includes programmed volatility, spread and execution checks before processing new setups.
Low-spread account types such as Raw Spread, Zero Spread or ECN-style accounts may be suitable depending on the broker.
A leverage of 1:200 or higher may provide greater margin flexibility, but required leverage depends on the account balance, broker specifications, margin requirements and selected position size.
Higher leverage does not automatically produce higher profit and can increase the potential impact of losses.
For automated M1 execution, a reliable low-latency Forex VPS may help reduce execution delays. Actual latency depends on the VPS provider, broker server location and network conditions.
BACKTEST INFORMATION
Backtest examples shown in the product screenshots were generated using the MetaTrader 5 Strategy Tester with "Every tick based on real ticks" modelling and historical XAUUSD data for the displayed test periods.
Different screenshots may use different:
- Starting balances
- Risk settings
- Leverage settings
- Strategy configurations
The purpose of these tests is to show how the EA behaved under different historical conditions.
Backtest results are historical simulations and should not be interpreted as live-account results or guarantees of future performance.
Performance can vary from month to month, and profitable periods, losing periods and drawdowns may all occur as market conditions change.
When percentage-based risk and compounding are used, changes in account balance can affect future position sizes and overall results.
Users should evaluate historical performance together with drawdown, Profit Factor, recovery behavior, trading costs and selected risk level.
