TrendCue Smart Trend is a trend and timing indicator for MetaTrader 5 with two trading modes:
SMART TREND
For structured trend-following.
SCALPING
For faster Context + Timing setups.
Switch between both modes directly from the on-chart panel.
The idea is simple:
Direction first.
Timing second.
Decision last.
The panel keeps the current market state clear:
BUY ONLY
SELL ONLY
WAIT
Confirmed setup events are based on completed candles and do not repaint after confirmation.
SMART TREND MODE
Smart Trend separates the chart into three clear views:
Structure
Shows the broader trend context.
Direction
Shows which side currently has permission: BUY ONLY, SELL ONLY or WAIT.
Timing
Adaptive SuperTrend provides the primary timing event.
Smart Trend uses two confirmed signal types:
PRIMARY — Timing moves into agreement with an already established Direction.
ALIGNMENT — Direction moves into agreement with Timing that was already in place.
This gives you a structured way to separate the broader move, directional permission and actual timing.
SCALPING MODE
Scalping is designed for faster Context + Timing setups.
Trend Context defines the preferred side.
Scalp Timing controls the timing state and candle colour.
The setup is simple:
Bullish Context + fresh bullish Timing transition = SCALP BUY
Bearish Context + fresh bearish Timing transition = SCALP SELL
If Context and Timing disagree, there is no setup yet.
The Scalping mode shares the familiar Trend Context used in the free TrendCue Vector, but its Timing engine and setup logic are completely different.
BUILT FOR SIMPLE USE — WITH ADVANCED CONTROL
Both trading modes include official presets, so you can start without configuring multiple indicators.
Experienced traders can use Advanced Overrides to enable or disable individual components such as Structural Cloud, Trend Chaser, Trend Context, Adaptive SuperTrend, Scalp Timing, HalfTrend and TrendCue Structure.
Use the defaults first. Customize only if your trading style requires it.
TRENDCUE SCANNER — INCLUDED FREE
TrendCue Scanner helps you monitor multiple symbols and timeframes without opening charts one by one.
It can scan for:
Smart Trend — PRIMARY signals
Smart Trend — PRIMARY + ALIGNMENT signals
Scalping Setups
The Scanner also shows current BUY ONLY / SELL ONLY / WAIT direction and supports popup, sound and push alerts.
It reads the same TrendCue Smart Trend logic used on the chart.
TRENDCUE GUARDIAN — INCLUDED FREE
TrendCue Guardian is a separate trade planning and management utility.
It can help with:
Risk-based position sizing
Stop Loss and Take Profit planning
Reward-to-Risk calculation
Breakeven and partial-close management
Trade management using CUSTOM R, FAST or BOTH modes
Guardian does not trade TrendCue signals automatically.
You remain in control of the trading decision.
