Review.

1st account. Post #4610.

It will survive because demo deposit is big.

I am using this account to select profitable pairs (for example).

2nd account. Post #4611

2k with FXCM, martingale

It will survive.

3rd account, post # 4612.

500 with FXCM, not martingale

I think this account will survive too because it is not martimgale.

4th account, post #4613.

200 with Alpari, not martingale

Non martingale.

This account is doing good.

Slowly but good.

But floating drawdown is 160 dollars for now for 240 dollars balace

(initial deposit was 200).

I am having hope that this account will survive.

5th account, post #4614.

2000 with Alpari, martingale.

No any problem with this account for now.

This account is not connected with stats website yet.

Thus, min initial deposit for martingale version (USDJPY only) is 2,000; and for non-martingale version (USDJPY only) may be 500 or 200 (200 is risky but will see ...).

Nice job

About each EA parameter setting, where we could find ?

thanks.

protection order and maxtrades

mrtools:
In the code it says this

if (OpenOrders>=(MaxTrades-OrderstoProtect) && AccountProtection==1)

{

if (Profit>=SecureProfit)

{

OrderClose(LastTicket,LastLots,LastClosePrice,slippage*point,Yellow);

ContinueOpening=False;

return(0);

}

}

If like you said you have 10 open orders but you have OrderstoProtect set to 3 and say you have MaxTrades set to 13. So if you have AccountProtection =1 (0=off and 1 =on) and MaxTrades-OrderstoProtect=10, so if your OpenOrders >= 10 the Ea will look to close the open orders the order profit is >= SecureProfit setting. Best i can say its supposed to be an account protection feature.

The maximum value for the protection order is the same value of MaxTrades?

If I want it to always close all (nothing to operate separately) in the above example I put in OrderstoProtec the same value of the maxtraders ?

Orderstoprotect set to 13

MaxTrades set to 13

Is that right?

Same settings.

if martingale version - one settings (for all)

if non-martingale settings - the other settings (for all).

It is different by brokers only.

For settings - check on the bottom of every post.

I will keep an eye on this thread.

But i don't trust any martingale...for the moment

5th account, post #4625.

2000 with Alpari, martingale.

Drawdown is more than 700 dollars for now and I hope that this account will survive.

Thus, we are having the following:

......

5th account, post #4625.

It may be survived.

But it is related to initial deposit size.

if will survive - 2,000 initial deposit is fine.

If not - need more deposit size.

All trades were closed in profit for this account:

Just for information.

Think somewhere earlier in the thread had talked about some account protection features hopefully in the next couple of days will be posting a new version of 10 point 3 with a bunch of account protection functions to choose from, actually there was a DLM contest version posted think it was 2007 that had a lot of these, but don't think they were working right, so these new additions hopefully will make this Ea somewhat safer.

ps) am also working on some sort of hedge for the non martingale,actually for both, still in the planning stages how we want to do it but see it very possibly in the near future.
