I started to trade/forward test some version of PolyFitScalper EA with non-martingale settings (with fixed stop loss value) with small deposit size (1,000). My goal is to select such kind of settings for this EA to be used with small deposit size (300 up to 1K) and do not use martingale with this EA anymore.

Non-martingale version of this EA made good profit for few days.

I will upload the statements here on this thread during the weekend or on Monday, and I will provide some information about it in our weekly '19th - 26th of August: some summary for this trading week' thread as usually.

For the members who are trials or who are looking to unsubscribe from elite section:

you can always ask any question on this public thread:

https://www.mql5.com/en/forum/173581

and I or elite section programmers will reply.

That's all news.

Hi newdigital,

Could you upload your non-martingale settings (with fixed stop loss value)? or you still use this setting?

Yes, I will upload the settings today.

PolyFitScalper_v1.61_noHedge EA with non-martingale settings

Alpari broker,

StrictNoHedge settings and ECN mode.

Initial deposit is 1,000

Trading pair:

EURUSD, GBPUSD and USDCHF

EA with default settings (together with indicators and text file) is attached.

Just some information about the settings - I do not think that this settings is perferc but I just having a hope that this account will survive for the long time. Anyway - it is not martingale.

Concerning the settings itself - all we need to know is the following:

MM = 2; // ММ Switch(0-off,1-%% of Free Margin,2-L.Williams formula,3-Martingale

I am using MM = 2 for now.

and

MaxRisk = 0.05

It is related to lot size. How to select this MaxRisk parameter?

backtest this EA for some time with your deposit size chaning this MaxRisk just to see/select/choose your desirable lot size.

Hi stanley18,

I uploaded (check my previous post).

Thanks for your reply. I'll test it tomorrow.

Hi stanley18, I uploaded (check my previous post).

Hi newdigital,

This version PolyFitScalper_v1.59_noHedge, I got big loss today(almost USD3000) and the max lot is 2.1.

Previous postPolyFitScalper_v1.61_noHedge still have no trades until today.

How about yours?

Hi stanley18,

I got loss for PolyFitScalper_v1.59_noHedge too but for Alpari account only.

FXCM account survived for now but who knows - max lot size is 0.41 on open trades for USDJPY ...

About PolyFitScalper_v1.61_noHedge with non-martingale settings - it was 66 dollars loss.

I am lucky that this settings is having fixed stop loss for every trade and stop loss value is small one (because initial lot size is 0.1 and this 66 dollar loss made by many trades).

I attached this EA to more pairs so currently I am using EURUSD, GBPUSD, USDJPY, USDCHF and EURGBP.

Deposit is 1,000 and starting lot size is 0.1 (non-martingale settings).

balance is 933 for now. Open trades equity is -22 now (2 open trades for USDCHF).

Seems - we came to the situation to select non-martingale settings for this EA.

because it is better to lose 60 dollars than 3,000 anyway And we need to select more good settings.

As I know - the latest version of Polyfit Ea is PolyFitScalper_v1.7.3 EA, right?

EA is here https://www.mql5.com/en/forum/179781/page18 with some settings, the other settings is on this post https://www.mql5.com/en/forum/179781/page19

So, will see how the situation will be developed for PolyFitScalper_v1.59_noHedge - if in negative way - I will start to use latest PolyFitScalper_v1.7.3 EA for martingale and non-martingale settings for 2 accounts.

----------

By the way - TickScalper_v3.45.7a survived with 7 pairs with small deposit using: max lot size was 0.08 only (for GBPCHF).
