Megamax GBPJPY runs the same confirmed-Donchian trend engine as our USDJPY flagship, on a much more volatile pair and a slower timeframe. Same setup, different temperament — here is what changes.

Setup
Attach to a GBPJPY H4 chart (suffixed symbol if applicable). Defaults are the published configuration: a 20-bar H4 Donchian channel, entries on a confirmed close beyond the channel (closed bars only — nothing repaints), a hard stop at SL_ATR x ATR on entry, an ATR trailing stop instead of a fixed target, and a maximum holding period that retires stalled trades. Lots are risk-sized against the stop with a hard maximum-lot cap.

The published measurement
Real-feed backtest (Dukascopy-derived data, $10,000): GBPJPY H4 2017-2026 returned +875% with Profit Factor 1.42. GBPJPY is one of the most volatile major crosses: expect wider stops, bigger swings, and a bumpier equity curve than the USDJPY sibling — the engine is the same, the ride is not. If you want the calmer expression of this exact engine, the USDJPY version is the flagship.

What normal looks like
Trend following on H4: a low win rate by design, long stretches of small stopped losses while waiting for a breakout that runs. Quiet weeks and losing streaks are the cost of the winners. The on-chart dashboard shows balance, equity, margin level, P&L, win rate, current drawdown and spread at a glance.
