MACD is a powerful momentum indicator.
There are many ways you can use MACD in your trading.
You can use it for trend trading as well as scalping depending on the timeframe.
One the lower timeframes, MACD gives good scalping signals.

Scalping gives a lot of trades. Just make sure you use risk management properly.
Most traders make the mistake of risking more in scalping.
Make sure your trade has got at least 1:1 Reward to Risk Ratio.
I would prefer a Reward to Risk ratio of at least 2:1 though.
