Tech Setups For EUR/USD, GBP/USD, EUR/CHF, AUD/USD - Barclays
The following are the latest technical setups for EUR/USD, GBP/USD, EUR/CHF and AUD/USD as provided by the technical strategy team at Barclays Capital.
EUR/USD: Failure to close above the 1.1340 area encourages our bearish view. We are looking for a move back towards the 1.1085 range lows and then lower towards our targets near 1.1020/1.1000.
GBP/USD: Small topping candles have prompted us to pare back our bullish view in the near term. We would use any dip as an opportunity to buy at better levels. The 1.5160 area underpins our greater bullish view towards 1.5520, the 100-dma, and then higher towards 1.5680.
EUR/CHF: We are neutral and prefer to buy corrective dips towards support in the 1.0885 area. Our upside targets are towards the 1.1055 highs and then the 1.1330 area.
AUD/USD: We are bearish and prefer to fade upticks against resistance in the 0.7210/20 area. A move below the 0.6895 lows would confirm downside traction towards our targets near 0.6770.
