GOLD FMV – Expert Advisor for XAUUSD (MetaTrader 5)
GOLD FMV is a fully automated Expert Advisor designed for trading Gold (XAUUSD) on MetaTrader 5, running on the H1 timeframe. It reads trend direction from moving averages of closed-bar prices, filters entries by the slope of the moving average, and manages every position with ATR-based stops and targets.
How it works
- Signal engine: the direction comes from a fast/slow moving average comparison on closed bars (CloseMA logic), confirmed by a moving-average slope filter.
- Timeframe: designed and set up for H1. Each timeframe block has its own parameters.
- Exit logic: ATR-based Stop Loss and Take Profit, a moving-average-based stop, and an option to close trades on an opposite signal.
- Soft Rescue module: an adaptive routine for positions that move against the entry. It uses market structure and volatility conditions to manage the position.
- Daily or weekly target: an optional profit target and loss limit in USD. They are defined for a reference lot and scale automatically with the lot actually used.
- Trading schedule: custom trading hours, with broker-time or local-time clock selection.
- Information panel: shows the EA status and trading statistics directly on the chart.
Money management
- Fixed lot, or lot sized by a risk percentage of the account balance.
- Optional recovery ladder that raises the lot after losing trades. This increases exposure, so use it with caution and test it on a demo account before live trading.
- All distances, targets and limits are set in USD, so they work the same on every broker.

- Symbol: XAUUSD
- Timeframe: H1
- Minimum deposit: 200 USD (with the base lot of 0.01)
- Account type: any, but a low-spread ECN or Raw account is preferred
- Leverage: 1:100 or higher
- VPS: recommended for 24/5 operation
Setup
- Attach the EA to an XAUUSD H1 chart.
