Trade Reporter isn't a trading robot. It watches your account and posts what happens to your Telegram chats or channels and your Discord server. It never opens, closes or modifies a trade.
It's for signal providers, prop-firm traders sharing their progress, trading groups, and anyone who wants their trades on their phone as they happen.
WHAT IT POSTS
- Open: side, symbol, entry, stop and target (with distance in pips), lot size, and the risk at the stop in money and % of balance.
- Stop / target moved: "stop moved to break-even", "profit locked", old to new. A trailing stop that moves every tick sends at most one message per position per minute (you set the gap), always with the latest level.
- Partial close: price, pips, result, lots closed and lots still open.
- Close: result in money and %, pips, R-multiple measured from the first stop, entry to exit, time held, and why it closed (stop loss hit, take profit hit, stop out).
- Pending orders: placed, cancelled or expired. A filled pending is reported once, as the open.
- Chart screenshot attached to opens and closes on the chart's own symbol.
- Daily report at the hour you choose, and a weekly report on Friday: trades, win rate, net result, pips, best and worst trade. Sent once, even across a restart.
BUILT FOR SIGNAL CHANNELS
- Three privacy modes: money + % + lots, % only, or pips and R only. Your account size never has to be public.
- Your own header line (channel name) and footer line (disclaimer, link) on every post.
- Filter by symbol list and magic-number list (0 = manual trades), so only the strategy you share gets posted.
- Several Telegram chats at once, plus a Discord webhook.
RELIABLE
- A send queue with retries (5 s, 15 s, 1 min, 5 min). It respects Telegram and Discord rate limits and paces sends to one every 2 seconds per destination.
- Restart-safe: a restart doesn't re-announce open positions, and the first-stop base for R survives a restart.
- Works on hedging and netting accounts, including netting reversals.
- The panel shows the destinations, sent / queued / failed counts, the last event, and any error in plain words. It has SEND TEST and PAUSE buttons.
SETUP (2 MINUTES)
1. Telegram: create a bot with @BotFather and copy its token. Add the bot to your channel or group as an admin. The chat ID is @yourchannel for a public channel, or the -100... number for a private one.
2. Discord: Server Settings > Integrations > Webhooks > New Webhook > Copy URL.
3. MetaTrader: Tools > Options > Expert Advisors > tick "Allow WebRequest for listed URL" and add https://api.telegram.org and https://discord.com (press Enter after each).
4. Attach Trade Reporter to any chart, paste the token, chat and webhook, then press SEND TEST. If you added the addresses while it was already running, reload it once: click the chart, press F7, then OK.

VERIFIED
Compiled with 0 errors and 0 warnings. No DLLs.
Self-test: 32 of 32 checks passed in the Strategy Tester. The checks cover:
- P/L to the cent, pips, R from the first stop, and time held, all checked against the deal history;
- trailing-stop churn sent as one message, and the filters staying silent;
- no repeat messages after a restart, and the privacy modes never showing money or lots;
- report totals matching the day's deals;
- the retry queue and rate limits;
- the Telegram and Discord request formats.
Tested live on a demo account: posts with chart screenshots delivered to both Telegram and Discord.
STRATEGY TESTER
WebRequest isn't available in the tester, so there every post is printed to the journal as TR[tester]. With "demo trades" on (tester only), it opens, moves, partly closes and closes small demo trades so you can read every message type on your own settings.
TROUBLESHOOTING
- Panel shows "Allow WebRequest...": add both addresses in Tools > Options > Expert Advisors (setup step 3), then reload the EA (F7 > OK).
- "token, chat or webhook not recognised": check the token, check that the bot is an admin of the channel, and check the chat ID (private channels start with -100).
- Nothing posts for some trades: check the symbol and magic filters. Manual trades are magic 0.
- No screenshot: MetaTrader can only capture a chart that's open, so screenshots come only for the chart's own symbol. For several symbols, attach one copy per symbol chart, give each copy its own symbol in the filter, and turn the reports on in one copy only.
- Two copies with the same filters post everything twice. Give each copy different symbols or magic numbers.
