Session and Cycle Zone Mapper

Session and Cycle Zone Mapper displays the Asian, London, and New York trading sessions directly on your MetaTrader 5 chart. Each session is drawn as a colored box showing the high, low, and pip range. The indicator also plots the Asian range as extended key levels, marks previous day high and low, and includes a 24-hour volatility heatmap. Session countdown timers and a dashboard panel keep you oriented within the trading day without switching timeframes or opening external tools.

Session Boxes with Pip Ranges

Three session boxes are drawn each day — one for the Asian session, one for London, and one for New York. Each box shows the session high and low as colored rectangles, with the total pip range labeled inside. You can fill the boxes with color or display only the borders. Boxes are also drawn for the previous day, allowing you to compare today's developing session against yesterday's completed range at a glance.

Asian Range Levels

The Asian session range is automatically identified and extended forward beyond the Asian close as horizontal lines. This lets you observe how price interacts with the Asian high and low during the London and New York sessions. The range width is displayed as a pip value on the label. Line color, style, and visibility are all customizable through the input settings.

Previous Day High and Low

PDH and PDL are plotted as dotted horizontal lines with price labels. These levels are widely referenced in session-based and intraday approaches. The indicator calculates them automatically from daily price data and updates them at the start of each new trading day.

Hourly Volatility Heatmap

A color-coded strip at the top of the chart shows average hourly volatility calculated from the past 20 days of historical data. Cooler tones represent hours with smaller average price ranges. Warmer tones highlight hours when the market historically produces more movement. This gives you a visual sense of when your symbol tends to be active and when it tends to be quiet, helping you align your screen time with the hours that matter most.

Dashboard Panel and Countdowns

A compact information panel in the corner of the chart shows the current status of each session — Active, Upcoming, or Closed — along with pip ranges and a countdown to the next session open. Vertical session open lines with countdown labels are drawn on the chart so you can see how much time remains before each session begins. No manual GMT calculation is needed — the indicator detects your broker's time offset automatically.

Session Open Alerts

The indicator can notify you when a new session opens. Popup alerts and sound alerts can be enabled independently through the input settings. You will not miss a session transition even when you step away from your screen.

Getting Started

Attach the indicator to any chart and any timeframe. Session times are configured in GMT by default and automatically adjusted to your broker's server time. All visual elements — colors, line styles, box fills, and component visibility — are organized into clearly labeled input groups for easy customization.

The indicator works with any symbol available in your terminal, including forex pairs, indices, and commodities. It reads price data from the chart it is applied to and calculates session ranges from that data.
