PropFirm Risk Guard is an advanced risk management and compliance utility designed specifically for funded account traders. It automatically monitors your equity, enforces prop firm rules, and protects your capital in real-time, allowing you to focus entirely on your trading strategy without the stress of manual calculation.
Important note: Attach this utility to one chart only. It will globally monitor all open positions and pending orders on your account. This utility does not generate trades; it is a professional risk-management layer.
Core Protection Features
The utility tracks daily and total account drawdown precisely in either percentage or fixed USD. You can choose between Hard Mode for immediate auto-close on breach, or Soft Mode which provides a visual alert and a countdown timer before securing positions.
It features a Profit Lock (Ratchet) system to automatically secure your gains. Once your profit reaches a defined target, the utility sets a trailing virtual lock. If equity drops by a specified offset, positions are closed to preserve capital. Additionally, the SL Guard scans open positions and warns you or force-closes trades placed without a Stop Loss.
To keep you safe during volatile markets, the built-in News Filter uses the MQL5 Economic Calendar to block new trades from being opened before and after high-impact news events. The Ghost SL/TP feature allows you to hide your actual Stop Loss and Take Profit levels from the broker, force-closing trades internally when virtual levels are crossed.
Trade management is heavily reinforced. You can set time-based closed profit/loss limits based on hourly, daily, weekly, or monthly periods. A Loss Streak Control automatically pauses your trading for a defined duration if you hit a specified number of consecutive losing trades. The End-of-Day auto close feature can liquidate all positions before midnight, while the Exposure Limits cap the maximum number of allowed open positions and total lots.
Main Input Parameters
- Protection Mode: Select Soft Mode (Alert and Countdown) or Hard Mode (Instant Execution). Choose calculation by USD or Percentage.
- Max Drawdown Limits: Set your Maximum Daily Loss and Maximum Account Loss. Define the specific Server Hour for the daily reset.
- Profit Lock: Define the Trigger level to activate the lock, and the Offset to secure the profit.
- News Filter: Enable or disable the blocker and set the buffer time in minutes around high-impact events.
- Ghost Levels: Define virtual SL and TP distances in points.
- Closed P/L Limits: Configure Max Loss and Max Profit for Hour, Day, Week, and Month.
- Loss Streak Control: Set the max consecutive losses allowed and the cool-down pause duration.
- Time Filters: Set the minutes before midnight to auto-close, and toggle allowed trading days.
- Exposure Limits: Define Max Open Positions and Max Total Lots.
- SL Guard: Choose to Alert or Force-Close positions missing a Stop Loss.
Remove the "NEW SESSION" button to eliminate manual overrides; the system should only reset automatically at the next daily rollover to ensure the trader’s safety net remains absolute. This prevents "tilted" traders from bypassing their own discipline and forces the cooling-off period necessary to protect the account. (Thanks for the new update, it works like a charm)
