DeFoeji SMC Sniper is an automated Smart Money Concepts (SMC) Expert Advisor. It trades CHoCH and BOS signals and enters from the Order Block that caused the move, with a defined stop loss and a take profit based on either a fixed Risk:Reward or the nearest un-swept inducement (IDM).
⚠ REQUIRED: this EA needs the indicator DeFoeji [SMC Valid Inducement]. The EA reads its CHoCH/BOS signals. Install the indicator first, then attach the EA. If the indicator is missing, the EA shows an alert and will not start.
How it works
- Signal: the indicator confirms a Bullish or Bearish CHoCH (change of character) or BOS (break of structure) on a closed bar.
- Order Block: the EA finds the origin of the impulse. For a buy, that is the last bearish candle at the lowest low. For a sell, it is the last bullish candle at the highest high.
- Entry: a limit order at the Order Block (proximal edge or 50% level), or a market order. If price is already inside the zone, the EA enters at market.
- Stop Loss: placed beyond the Order Block, plus a configurable buffer.
- Take Profit: fixed Risk:Reward, or the nearest un-swept minor inducement (IDM) above or below entry, with an automatic fallback to RR.
- Management: break-even, automatic cancellation of stale or invalidated pending orders, and optional closing of opposite positions on a reverse signal.

- Works on any symbol and timeframe, with a unique Magic Number
Input parameters
Indicator
- Indicator file name – name of the required indicator (without .ex5)
- Signal timeframe – CURRENT uses the chart timeframe
- Structure without IDM – gives more signals when enabled
- Signal scan bars – checks the last N closed bars so no signal is missed
- Signals to trade – Both / CHoCH only / BOS only
- Allow BUY / Allow SELL
Entry / Order Block
- Entry mode – OB proximal / OB 50% / Market
- Lookback – bars searched for the impulse origin
- OB body only – use the candle body instead of high–low
- Pending expiry – bars before an unfilled limit order is cancelled
Stop Loss / Take Profit
- SL buffer – points beyond the Order Block
- Max SL distance – 0 = no limit
- Risk:Reward – used for TP
Un-swept Inducement (IDM) Target
- TP mode – RR only / IDM else RR / IDM only
- Minor pivot strength – bars left and right
- IDM lookback – bars searched for a target
- Minimum IDM RR – the IDM is used only if it offers at least this RR
- IDM buffer – TP stops N points before the IDM level
Money Management
- Lot mode – Fixed lot / Risk percent
- Fixed lot and Risk per trade (%)
- Max open positions
Position Management
- Enable break-even, Break-even RR, Break-even offset
- Close opposite positions on a reverse signal
Filters
- Max spread – 0 = disabled
- Limit trading hours with start and end hour (server time)
Misc
- Magic number, Slippage, Order comment, Debug log
Setup
- Install DeFoeji [SMC Valid Inducement].
- Attach DeFoeji SMC Sniper to a chart and enable Algo Trading.
- Choose your risk settings. The default is 1% risk per trade with a 1:2 RR fallback.
- Use the debug log in the Experts tab if you want to see the reason behind each decision.
Notes
- The EA acts on closed bars of the signal timeframe, so it does not repaint-trade on forming candles.
- Test on a demo account first. Settings, spreads and execution differ between brokers and symbols.
- Stop levels, lot steps and fill types are read from the broker automatically.
