Twin Reaper
Two grid engines in one EA, each running independently on its own magic number so they never interfere. Trades GBPUSD; built for a hedging account.
👻 Phantom — USD-strength grid
On every H1 close it reads a 5-pair US-dollar-strength vote. When all five agree, it seeds a basket in the signalled direction, then adds against the move every 500 points. The whole basket is closed together on take-profit or a give-back trail.
💀 Wraith — Bollinger band grid
A candle that closes above the upper band opens/stacks a SELL; a close below the lower band opens/stacks a BUY. New rungs need a minimum distance from the last same-side order. Each side (buy/sell) is its own basket, closed by a give-back trail.
Default profile
- Phantom: 0.01 start lot • add every 500 pts • max 15 orders • martingale ×2 • basket TP 500 pts • trail start 300 / distance 100 • no SL.
- Wraith: 0.01 start lot • martingale ×1.25 • max 20 orders/side • min 200 pts between orders • trail start 200 / distance 50 • no SL.
All non-input parameters are hardcoded to this profile. Distances are in points.
🛡️ Optional per-engine stops
Each engine now carries two extra safety stops, exposed as inputs and OFF (0) by default:
- Basket SL (points) — close the basket if it runs this many points against the average entry.
- Equity-% SL — close the basket if its floating loss reaches this percentage of account equity.
Phantom applies these to its single basket; Wraith applies them per side (buy / sell). They sit alongside the account-wide circuit breaker (equity drawdown and margin-level guard).
🎯 Precision entries — the grid is a safety net, not the plan
The grid exists to rescue a bad entry — but a good entry rarely needs it. Over a sample backtest of 179 baskets, the signal was accurate enough that the vast majority closed on the first or second order, before the grid had to stack deeper:
- 113 of 179 baskets closed on a single order (63%)
- 157 of 179 baskets closed within 1–2 orders (88%)
- Average basket size: just 1.76 orders

Inputs
- Comment — order comment for both engines.
- Enable Phantom / Enable Wraith — switch each engine on or off.
- Magic Phantom / Magic Wraith — one magic number per engine.
- Phantom / Wraith basket SL (points) — close the basket at this adverse distance (0 = off).
- Phantom / Wraith equity-% SL — close the basket when its floating loss reaches this % of equity (0 = off).
- Global equity SL — account-wide: close everything and halt if equity falls this % from its peak (0 = off).
Requirements
- Hedging account (MT5) — both engines run grids on the same symbol.
- Designed for GBPUSD. Attach the EA to a GBPUSD chart (H1 recommended) — this is the symbol it trades.
- The broker symbol suffix is detected automatically for Phantom's 5 signal pairs — just make sure those pairs exist at your broker.
- A VPS / 24-5 uptime is strongly recommended.
