Product Overview

HydraPure is a multi-strategy hybrid EA based on multi-indicator confluence confirmation, specifically designed for XAUUSD (Gold) and operating on the H1 timeframe. It employs a multi-strategy combination with limited grid scaling architecture, capturing trading opportunities across different market conditions through diversified strategy dimensions. Trading Strategy

HydraPure's core consists of multiple sub-strategies, each utilizing independent timeframes and parameter sets to capture different market volatility cycles.

Signal Generation Mechanism:

• Each strategy determines direction through a combination of complementary technical indicators, requiring multi-level confirmation before generating entry signals;

• Signals must pass momentum filtering to ensure entries only occur when trend strength is sufficient;

• Asymmetric filter thresholds are applied for long and short positions, aligning with Gold's distinct bullish and bearish behavior patterns;

• Final signals are subject to strict strategy direction validation.

Position Management:

• Employs limited grid scaling mechanism, with a maximum of 7 scaling layers per strategy;

• Grid spacing adapts to market volatility, preventing excessive scaling during violent market moves;

• Initial orders and grid scales use equal lot sizes, maintaining clear and controlled position structure.

Exit Mechanism:

• Positions are closed in full at the strategy's preset weighted average price target;

• Profit protection triggers when price retraces to the break-even line, locking in profits early;

• Global drawdown control: automatically closes all positions when total floating loss reaches 25% of account equity.

Important Note on VIX Filter Usage

The VIX panic index filter is one of HydraPure's key risk management components. It automatically pauses trading during extreme market panic, helping to avoid systemic risk events. For live trading, it is strongly recommended to keep this feature enabled.

However, since most brokers do not provide complete historical VIX data, it is recommended to disable  UseVIX  during backtesting to avoid data availability issues that may affect test results. When switching to live trading, simply enable it again to activate the VIX filter's protective function.

Backtest Performance

HydraPure has been fully backtested using Dukascopy genuine historical tick data (2018.01.01 — 2026.08.29). Dukascopy data is renowned for its strict standards, with tick granularity and accuracy significantly higher than MT5's default data, providing a more realistic reflection of slippage and execution quality in live trading environments.

Detailed backtest results are shown in the screenshots below. Please note that any EA claiming zero drawdown or exponential growth should be viewed with caution — there is no risk-free trading system in financial markets.

Only one stop-loss event occurred during the entire backtest, on October 15, 2024, caused by the global financial "black swan" event triggered by the Korean Peninsula conflict. Such systemic risks cannot be completely avoided through strategy optimization, but have been effectively contained within HydraPure's multi-layer risk control framework, keeping losses within acceptable limits.

HydraPure guarantees:

Applicable Scenarios

HydraPure is not a high-frequency scalping EA and does not seek trading signals every day. Entry conditions are relatively strict, averaging approximately 14-15 trades per month — patience is the most important quality for using this product.
