Kiwi MTF Trend Pro is a multi-timeframe trend-following indicator for MetaTrader 5. It combines trend direction, trend strength and momentum confirmation in one clear chart display.
The indicator projects the selected analysis timeframe onto the current chart. For example, traders can monitor an H1 trend while working from an M5 chart.
Kiwi MTF Trend Pro is designed for Forex, Gold, indices, commodities and other instruments available in MetaTrader 5.
MAIN FEATURES
Multi-Timeframe Trend Analysis
Select an independent analysis timeframe from M1 to MN1. The selected trend can be displayed on any chart timeframe.
Trend-Colored Candles
Candles are automatically colored according to the detected market condition:
Blue: bullish trend.
Red: bearish trend.
Silver: weak or uncertain market.
Gold: potential trend change.
BUY AND SELL SIGNALS
BUY and SELL signals are displayed directly on the chart when the selected conditions are confirmed.
Signals are calculated using completed analysis candles to provide stable historical signals. Large chart labels make potential entry areas easy to identify.
The indicator does not automatically open or manage trades.
TREND STRENGTH FILTER
The built-in ADX filter measures trend strength.
When ADX is below the selected minimum level, the market is classified as weak. This can help traders avoid low-momentum or ranging conditions.
STOCHASTIC CONFIRMATION
The Stochastic module evaluates market momentum and adds an additional confirmation layer.
The dashboard displays one of the following conditions:
CONFIRMED: trend and momentum agree.
PARTIAL: a trend is present without full momentum confirmation.
NOT CONFIRMED: current conditions do not meet the required filters.
TWO SIGNAL MODES
Trend Change Mode
Generates a signal when a new bullish or bearish trend state is confirmed.
Retest Mode
Looks for a pullback toward the fast EMA while the broader trend remains active.
ON-CHART DASHBOARD
The dashboard displays:
Current trend direction.
Selected analysis timeframe.
ADX trend strength.
Stochastic momentum confirmation.
Indicator ON or OFF status.
Use the timeframe button to cycle through the available analysis timeframes without changing the chart timeframe.
TRADING SESSION DISPLAY
Optional session boxes identify the following major market sessions:
Sydney.
Tokyo.
London.
New York.
Session times and colors can be adjusted to match the broker server time.
The session boxes can be displayed as clean outlines or filled zones.
ALERTS
The indicator supports:
MetaTrader popup alerts.
Mobile push notifications.
Email notifications.
Alerts are generated when a new confirmed signal is detected.
EA AND ICUSTOM COMPATIBILITY
Signal buffers are available for integration with Expert Advisors and other MQL5 tools.
Buffer 5: BUY signal.
Buffer 6: SELL signal.
An active signal contains the chart price of the marker. No signal is represented by EMPTY_VALUE.
INPUT PARAMETERS
Trend Engine
Analysis Timeframe: timeframe used for trend and signal calculations.
Fast EMA: period of the fast exponential moving average.
Slow EMA: period of the slow exponential moving average.
ADX Period: calculation period for the ADX trend-strength filter.
Minimum ADX: minimum ADX value required for a strong trend state.
Stochastic K: main Stochastic calculation period.
Stochastic D: Stochastic signal-line period.
Stochastic Slowing: smoothing applied to the Stochastic oscillator.
Signal Mode: selects Trend Change or Retest signal logic.
Require Stochastic: requires Stochastic confirmation before displaying a signal.
Color Weak Bars: displays weak or uncertain candles in the neutral color.
Hide Original Candles: hides the standard chart price display and shows the indicator-colored candles.
Signals and Alerts
Show Arrows: enables or disables BUY and SELL markers.
Show Signal Labels: displays large BUY and SELL text labels.
Signal Label Size: controls the size of signal text.
Arrow ATR Distance: controls the distance between signals and candles using ATR.
Popup Alert: enables alerts inside MetaTrader 5.
Push Notification: sends signals to a connected MetaQuotes ID.
Email Alert: sends signals using the email settings configured in MetaTrader 5.
Trading Sessions
Show Sessions: enables or disables session boxes.
Session Days: number of recent trading days displayed.
Fill Session Boxes: switches between filled session zones and outline boxes.
Show Session Labels: displays the name of each session.
Sydney Time: Sydney session time in broker server time.
Tokyo Time: Tokyo session time in broker server time.
London Time: London session time in broker server time.
New York Time: New York session time in broker server time.
Sydney Color: display color for the Sydney session.
Tokyo Color: display color for the Tokyo session.
London Color: display color for the London session.
New York Color: display color for the New York session.
Display
Show Panel: enables or disables the on-chart dashboard.
Panel Corner: selects the chart corner used for the dashboard.
Panel X Position: horizontal dashboard position.
Panel Y Position: vertical dashboard position.
BASIC SETUP
Attach Kiwi MTF Trend Pro to a chart.
Select the required analysis timeframe.
Adjust the ADX and Stochastic filters if necessary.
Confirm that session times match the broker server time.
Enable popup, push or email notifications if required.
The default settings provide a practical starting point. Traders should test different settings for their selected symbol and timeframe before using the indicator in live trading.
