AUREUS PRIME AEGIS: Intelligent Defense for Asymmetric Gains
Version: 2.1
Aureus Prime Aegis is an institutional-grade Expert Advisor built exclusively for XAUUSD volatility. Aegis abandons the traditional martingale approach and replaces it with a Positive Risk-Reward Architecture — engineered so your average winner is nearly 3x larger than your average loser.
Designed for serious traders who value capital preservation, Aegis lets massive trends run while keeping drawdowns strictly controlled through its proprietary Dual Guard system.
🛡️ CORE PHILOSOPHY
Asymmetric Gains, Not High Win Rate: With a 45.78% win rate, Aegis proves you don't need to win often — you need to win big. Average profit $38.68 vs average loss -$13.61 creates natural account growth even with more losses than wins.
Controlled Grid Recovery: Unlike dangerous infinite grids, Aegis uses a limited, non-martingale recovery system. When price moves against the initial entry, the EA adds 1-2 strategic positions within a defined volatility zone to improve the basket average. No exponential lot sizing, no account blow-up risk.
Two Modes, One Engine: Choose MODE_SINGLE for pure 1-shot momentum trading, or MODE_GRID (default) for intelligent basket management. Both modes share the same Dual Guard protection.
⚙️ HOW IT WORKS
Volatility Squeeze Breakout: Aegis ignores ranging markets. It waits for Bollinger Band compression and enters only on confirmed Donchian Channel breakouts — capturing the explosive moves Gold is famous for.
Multi-Layered Exit & Protection Architecture
Aureus Prime Aegis does not rely on hope; it relies on strict algorithmic risk control. The system guards capital and secures profits through a robust five-tiered defense mechanism:
-
Emergency Physical Stop Loss: An initial hard stop loss is placed immediately upon entry as an ultimate fail-safe. Set at a fixed, secure distance, it guarantees server-side protection against catastrophic "Black Swan" events or unexpected VPS connectivity issues.
-
Layer 1: Scaled USD Profit Lock: Once a position reaches a predefined monetary milestone, the system automatically adjusts the exit level to secure a guaranteed minimum profit. This lock scales dynamically based on the current lot multiplier, ensuring that winning trades never turn into losses.
-
Layer 2: ATR Chandelier Trailing: As the trend develops, a dynamic virtual trailing stop follows the price at a calculated Average True Range (ATR) distance. This allows the position to breathe and capture extended market movements while seamlessly adapting to real-time volatility.
-
Layer 3: Dynamic Peak-Profit Tracking: A highly advanced anti-reversal protocol that continuously records the absolute peak floating profit (High-Water Mark) of a trade. Instead of relying on static pips, the system uses this peak data to ruthlessly recalculate and tighten the virtual stop, ensuring sudden, violent price rejections cannot erase the gained equity.
-
Macro Layer: Equity Target & Daily Risk Guardian: At the account level, Aegis monitors overall performance. It acts as a global safety net, securing all open positions simultaneously if a predefined Equity Spike target is achieved. Conversely, it serves as a strict circuit breaker, immediately pausing all trading for 24 hours if the maximum daily loss limit is reached.
News-Proof by Design: No news filter required. The Dual Guard is specifically engineered to survive and profit from high-impact volatility spikes.
