Hedging Assistant

Hedging Assistant MT5 is an Expert Advisor panel designed to help traders organize hedging-based trade execution and trade management inside MetaTrader 5.

The panel provides a visual dashboard where the user can prepare lot size, stop loss, take profit, and pending order distance values before placing trades. It includes instant execution, limit order workflow, stop order workflow, pending order management, break-even tools, partial close tools, and close controls.

The purpose of this tool is to improve trade workflow and make hedge management easier from the chart. It does not guarantee trading results. The user is responsible for checking market conditions, broker rules, account type, spread, slippage, and risk settings before using the EA on a live account.

Main Purpose

This EA is created for traders who use hedging-style trade management and want a visual control panel for placing and managing buy and sell setups.

The dashboard helps the user:

Prepare trade values before execution
Place instant, limit, or stop orders
Manage open hedge positions
Move trades to break-even when conditions are suitable
Use partial close controls
Delete pending orders
Close selected positions or all positions from the panel
Keep the trading process organized on the chart

Dashboard Sections

The dashboard includes the following sections:

Master Signal
This area displays the current directional reading of the panel. It can show bullish, bearish, or mixed conditions. This information is only a visual assistant and should not be used as a guarantee of future price movement.

Trade Mode
This section provides three execution choices:

Instant
Limit
Stop

Risk and Setup
This section allows the user to enter the main trade values:

Lot
Stop Loss
Take Profit
Distance

Trade Management
This area is used to manage active hedge positions. It includes break-even, partial close, buy-side close, sell-side close, and close controls depending on the current open positions.

Tools
This section includes buttons for manual control, filling setup values, deleting pending orders, refreshing internal calculations, and closing positions.

How to Use

1. Attach the EA to a chart

Open MetaTrader 5 and attach Hedging Assistant MT5 to the chart you want to trade. Make sure Algo Trading is enabled in the terminal.

2. Check account compatibility

This tool is designed for hedging-style workflows. Use it on an MT5 account that supports hedging if you want buy and sell positions to exist separately. On netting accounts, opposite positions may be merged according to the account and broker behavior.

3. Set trade values

Before placing any trade, enter the values in the setup area:

Lot
Stop Loss
Take Profit
Distance

Lot is the order volume.
Stop Loss is the protective distance or level used by the EA.
Take Profit is the target distance or level used by the EA.
Distance is used for pending order placement when using limit or stop workflows.

4. Review the dashboard

Check the dashboard information before pressing any execution button. The signal area is only a decision-support display. It should be combined with the user’s own analysis.

5. Use Instant mode

Press Instant when you want the EA to place the trade setup immediately according to the current panel values.

Before using Instant mode, confirm that lot size, stop loss, take profit, and spread are acceptable.

6. Use Limit mode

Press Limit when you want to prepare pending limit orders according to the selected distance and setup values.

After placing limit orders, monitor the pending orders carefully. Use Delete Pending if you want to remove pending orders from the chart.

7. Use Stop mode

Press Stop when you want to prepare pending stop orders according to the selected distance and setup values.

This mode is useful when the user wants execution only after price reaches a trigger area.

8. Manage open hedge positions

After positions are open, use the Trade Management section.

BE All
Moves eligible positions to break-even according to the EA logic.

P50 All
Applies partial close logic according to the EA settings.

Close All
Attempts to close all managed positions.

Delete Pending
Deletes pending orders managed by the EA.

Individual row buttons may appear for managing specific hedge rows or trade sides.

9. Move or minimize the dashboard

The dashboard can be moved from the top header area. Use the minimize button when you want to keep the chart cleaner.
