SyncTrader Risk Manager
SyncTrader Risk Manager is a manual trading and risk management utility for MetaTrader 5. It calculates position volume from a selected monetary or percentage risk and places a structured trade plan directly from the chart.
The utility does not generate trading signals and does not open trades automatically. The trader selects the direction, order type, Stop Loss and Take Profit levels before confirming an order.
Main features
- Position sizing by account currency or percentage of account balance
- Market, Limit and Stop orders
- One to four Take Profit levels
- Adjustable Entry, Stop Loss and Take Profit lines
- Level values displayed in account currency, points or R
- Automatic breakeven after a selected Take Profit
- Nine reusable level templates
- Spread, margin, per-trade risk and daily loss checks
- Quick closing of managed positions: all, profitable or losing
- Removal of managed pending orders
- Current-symbol or all-symbol scope for quick actions
- Optional interface sounds and a compact collapsible chart panel
- Hedging and netting account support
- Persistent netting management after terminal or Expert Advisor restart
Trading workflow
- Select risk in account currency or as a percentage of balance.
- Select BUY MARKET, SELL MARKET, BUY LIMIT, SELL LIMIT, BUY STOP or SELL STOP.
- Move the Entry, Stop Loss and Take Profit lines on the chart.
- Select one to four Take Profit levels and, if required, automatic breakeven.
- Review the calculated volume and level values.
- Press PLACE ORDER.
Netting account behavior
MetaTrader keeps one combined position per symbol on a netting account. SyncTrader manages TP1 to TP3 as virtual partial exits and keeps the final Take Profit and Stop Loss at the broker.
The terminal and the utility must remain running for virtual partial exits and automatic breakeven. The final Take Profit and Stop Loss remain server-side. The utility saves its active netting plan and restores management after a terminal or Expert Advisor restart.
Same-direction additions are merged into the active netting position. Remaining partial volumes are recalculated while the existing target plan is retained. Opposite-direction entries that could reduce or reverse the position are blocked.
Quick actions
The ALL, WIN, LOSS and PEND buttons affect only orders and positions managed with the configured SyncTrader magic number. Their scope can be limited to the current chart symbol or extended to all symbols.
