MQL4 NEW ORDER REQUEST: CUSTOM ORDER WINDOW FOR MT4
I recently changed brokers. I used to trade with Oanda but their platform keeps crashing so i had to change to another broker. The issue now is that I have to trade directly on the MT4 platform instead of Oanda’s platform. What I loved most about Oanda was their order window. So I wanted to see if you can write a script/indicator for an MT4 order window.
You will see from the images, but these are the general things I want in it:
1. BASIC ORDER BOX FUNCTIONALITY:
a. All the basics: ability to choose between market order and pending order (limit and buy/sell stop).
b. shows the traded pair (default to current chart window currency pair)
2. ADDED ORDER BOX FUNCTIONALITY (LIKE OANDA):
a. being able to choose if i want to enter the SL and TP in terms of pips or price. (Oanda has this, MT4 does not). For example, if i choose market order, then I can input pip values for SL and TP which is my preference. For example SL = 10 pips, TP = 50 pips. If i do a limit order, then obviously I need to input the limit price as well so a field for that.
b. a built- in lot size calculator directly on the order box: this should pull my account balance (how much total capital i have) and have input fields for risk per trade(set default to 1%) and SL(set default to 15 pips). And then it should calculate and show the lot size necessaryfor that trade to stay within risk boundaries for the account.
c. on the bottom of order box like the Oanda order box I want it to show:
a. -pip value: 1 pip = x.xx USD
b. -take profit: take profit = x.xx USD
c. -stop loss: stop loss = x.xx USD
3. MT4 ORDER BOX FUNCTIONALITY REMOVAL:
a. I do not need a chart window as shown on the MT4 order box.
8. ON THE CHART SCREEN:
a. SL line should say stop loss in text along with red line (like oanda)
b. TP line on chart should say take profit in text along with blue line (like oanda)
c. ENTRY line on chart should be green and show net GAIN/LOSS in price and pips in real time as the tics change.
d. also if you can put a small X on the entry line so I can close the order from there directly? (like oanda)
e. I also want it to print on the chart screen in the bottom left corner (as seen in the image): print: 15SL 1.00% risk 1.04 lots (for example) [I have included the source code for the lot size calculator and printing on screen if you wish to use it]
9. MODIFICATION OF CURRENT ORDER:
I would like to bring up the current order and be able to exit a full or partial lot size by percentages: If you can add a button to exit by 100%, 80%, or 50%. (closing the 80% of an order would leave 20% running)
