Interesting and Humour - page 3978

Andrey Kisselyov:

This is not the result of Soviet education, it is the result of the substitution of moral values in people's lives. before, any person, especially those with higher education and experience, was valued in the workplace. look what is happening now, everywhere they want to see a pretty face in miniskirts, instead of a specialist with a long experience (lowered to the level of sexually preoccupied primates). after 40-50 they try not to hire in companies (young people are not experienced, while they gain experience the country is behind in development). the common word substitution in the English manner, manager, supervisory

and this is just what is on the surface ...

with respect.

Human nature has been about the same at all times - aggressive, selfish, conniving...
the only thing that changes is the way human relationships are packaged, sometimes sugary, sometimes more frank...
the primal predatory essence hasn't gone anywhere, it's been inside all along...
in the cellars of the lush architecture of humanism there are still dark shadows of the past...
it's not hard to see that in light of recent world events...
arguments about how things used to be better are memories of naive youth...
new elements are constantly replacing old ones...
traditions inevitably die, better forms come...

the answer to your words is simple.
THERE IS NOTHING NEW UNDER THE SUN.

a man knows exactly what he needs only when his body, soul and spirit are united and this moment appears only at the age of 36 or more. unfortunately that is how people are built, we start to understand what is good for us when we have already made a bunch of mistakes. as a consequence of that moment at many nations of the world the youngest must strictly follow what the older ones tell them, thus they can avoid the mistakes of their fathers, thus simplifying their lives and the lives of people around them. who does not realize it is doomed to repeat the same mistakes from generation to generation (and it is over with - one mistake, another).

Respectfully.

no mistakes - no discoveries)

An unswerving adherence to "what the elders say" and a lack of desire to rethink has led, for example, to the disappearance of the Sumerian, and later the Egyptian, Assyro-Babylonian civilisation.

Not just by them, but by you too.

Why "but and"? Who is in the photo then?

Artyom ) Hi there!

How about erasing my posts on "Predictions and Consequences...?"

Give me a link to delete it?

Thank you!

Hi. Why not? Let them be...
I've been pretty busy lately.

There are microscopic midges breeding in the flat. I assume they are drosophilias. There were no flies or mosquitoes all summer, and then they started. Crawling on the screen, mating, annoying beyond belief.

I bought a fumigator that plugs into a socket. It works on mosquitoes, gnats don't care about it.

Anybody have any experience with what to poison it with?

If you can't beat it, take the lead! (just kidding, just kidding)

In the evening - one light source - a table lamp - and a hoover to collect ...

Probably haven't taken out the rubbish in a fortnight. It gets in wet places - food waste bins, flowers from over-watering.
