Who has laptops that run for a whole week? Question of this nature - what is the best mode for a laptop that stays on from Monday to Friday inclusive: to unplug from time to time, or to keep it on the cord for the whole five days?
Keep it on a lanyard, of course. The battery has to be recharged.
Or is it better to disconnect it from the lanyard, run it until the charge goes down (like to 10% - otherwise Windows gets hysterical :) ) and then back on the lanyard to 100%?

You have to consider that the monitor runs on mains power, not battery power.
