Trade Panel – User Guide

Instructions for installing a demo version for MetaTrader 4:

1) Open the MetaTrader4 terminal.
2) In the terminal menu, go to the «File» / «Open Data Folder» submenu:

3) In the window that opens, go to the "MQL4" / "Experts" folder:

4) Place the TradePanelMT4_Demo.ex4 file in the "Experts" folder. (the file TradePanelMT4_Demo is attached at the bottom of this post 🠗🠗🠗.)

5) Close the folder, refresh the "Navigator" window of the terminal.
6) In the "Navigator" window, find the TradePanelMT4_Demo file, right-click on it and select "Attach to a Chart" from the context menu, or simply drag the file onto the chart:

The demo version contains the following restrictions: it works for 14 days, only on a demo account.

Trade Panel is an application that runs in the Metatrader4/5 environment, and its operation does not depend on the operating system. Accordingly, if a Metatrader4/5 can work on your computer, then the Trade Panel will work without problems.

Metatrader on mac works, so the panel will work the same way. How to install terminal on mac is described here - https://www.metatrader5.com/en/terminal/help/start_advanced/install_mac

Hello, when you buy the Trading Panel, you get 20 activations. 1 activation = 1 computer or vps.

You activate only the computer, on the activated computer you can use an unlimited number of terminals with the purchased product installed on them.

Hello, I am running a mac book pro, 16 inch, Ventura OS 13.2, I am running MT4 currently.

I tried downloading the trading panel demo version. I followed the instructions above. I cannot get it to work or even load up. My system will not accept the step where I should add the trading panel link into the experts folder. My system will not accept the link. Can you help me?

Hello, these links are to the Trading Panel files. That is, you click on the link "TradePanelMT4_Demo.ex4" and your browser should automatically download this file. Next, you open the folder where this file was downloaded (for example, on my computer this folder is called

Downloads) and you simply copy or transfer this downloaded file to the Experts folder.

Thanks for the reply. I must be doing something wrong. I've done all that you instruct here, however the "Expert" folder will not accept the Trade Panel demo link. I've tried it numerous times but to no avail. I have the demo link in my downloads file on my mac. It will not open in my mac.

To be honest, I do not understand the essence of the problem, you just need to take three steps:

Step 1 - You have downloaded the file and you see in the Downloads folder a file named "TradePanelMT4_Demo.ex4"

Step 2 - you copy this file (the file called "TradePanelMT4_Demo.ex4") into the "Expert" folder (i.e. you don't open it, you just copy it from one folder to another)

Step 3 - In the terminal, update the Navigator window, and then follow the instructions.

Step 2 doesn't work. I copy the file then paste it to the Expert folder but nothing happens at this point. The file does not appear in the Experts folder even when I refresh. Nor does it appear in the navigator Expert folder.

Now I understand, I can say that this is not related to the file or the terminal, this problem is related to your computer. That is, you need to solve the problem why you cannot copy the file to this folder.

Yes I get that, I've done this numerous times. Step 2 does not work. I tried opening the file just to see what happens. There is obviously an issue with my mac and this operating system. I've spent lots of time trying to solve this. I would love to buy this EA if we can get it to work. But so far I can't even get it loaded into my MT4. I have followed your instructions to the T as well as searched the internet for possible solutions. Step 2 simply will not work on this computer.

Maybe you have some kind of prohibition on the OS to work with such a file extension? Or maybe it is related to the antivirus?

OK I think I got it. I went thru the MT4 file menu to my desktop. Copied the demo file from there and went back to the Expert folder. Pasted the file, closed the window. Went to navigator, refreshed, and there is the demo file right where it should be. Now I will begin learning how to use this EA.
