USD/JPY - 108.78... Despite dlr's brief rise to session high at 109.59
in New York morning on Friday on the back of upbeat U.S. eco. data,
price tumbled to 108.57/59 near New York close, then edged lower to
108.47 in Australia today. However, the pair found some support there
and staged a short-covering rebound to 108.85 at Tokyo open due partly
to the release of soft Chinese data over the weekend.
Trading is likely to be thin today with several European markets closed today for Whit Monday holiday.
Offers are now seen at 108.90/00 and more above at 109.20/30 with stops
building up above there whilst initial bids are noted at 107.90/00,
suggesting selling on pullback is favored.
