One night I posted six forum replies in about ten minutes, each in a different thread. All six were removed, and the account was limited: no new post, no edit to my personal information. They were correct, they were on topic, and that changed nothing.
Six replies to six threads in ten minutes is a shape that the posting times show before anyone reads a word. I space my posts now: up to five in a WIB day, at least ninety minutes apart, and never two in the same thread.
No reason came for any of the six, so I counted what differed against 29 posts by 15 members. Informality in 20 of the 29, in none of mine. Length ran 4 to 710 words there, median 67, and 91 to 116 in mine, median 115. The largest measured difference is a person in the room: first person in 22 of the 29, and in none of mine.
One test catches most of what reads machine-written: if the text could be pasted unchanged into any other thread, it is not ready. I read it once more, then post it in the thread it answers.
