Manup’s Algo is an automated momentum trading system built for Gold (XAUUSD) on the 15-minute chart. It reads a 9 EMA and a 14 RSI, plans every trade with a Stop Loss and three Take Profit levels, and draws the whole plan on your chart so you can see what the EA is doing.
How the signal works
- BUY: a candle closes above the 9 EMA while RSI(14) is above 50.
- SELL: a candle closes below the 9 EMA while RSI(14) is below 50.
- A signal is created only on the first candle where the condition becomes true, and only after that candle has closed. Signals do not repaint.
- The EA enters within a short window after the new candle opens (default 120 seconds). If the window has passed, the signal is skipped.
Trade plan
- Entry: the current market price when the signal triggers.
- Stop Loss: below the lowest low (BUY) or above the highest high (SELL) of the previous 4 candles, plus an optional buffer.
- Take Profit: three fixed-distance targets, set as multiples of a step (Step, 2×Step, 3×Step). The default step is 10.0 price units, which is $10 on Gold. Alternatively, size the step from ATR so it adapts to volatility.
- If the planned Stop Loss would sit on the wrong side of the market price, the trade is skipped.
Position handling
- Single mode: one trade that closes at the target you choose (TP1, TP2 or TP3).
- Split mode: the lot is divided into three equal positions, one for each Take Profit level. Split mode needs a hedging account.
- When a new signal appears while a trade is open, the EA can either close the trade and reverse, or ignore the new signal.
Risk and lot size
- Fixed lot, or a percentage of account balance risked per trade based on the Stop Loss distance.
- Maximum spread filter and slippage control.
- HoldTrade mode: the EA plans trades, draws the levels and sends alerts, but places no orders. Use it to watch the logic before trading it.
On-chart display
- Entry, Stop Loss and the three Take Profit levels, drawn on the chart.
- Markers for the Take Profit and Stop Loss hits.
- Optional Order Block and Fair Value Gap outlines for market-structure context. These are visual only and do not affect trade decisions.
- A status panel and optional popup or push alerts.
Recommended setup
- Symbol: XAUUSD. Timeframe: M15.
- Leave the default settings and start with the lowest lot size on a demo account.
- Low-spread broker, hedging account if you use Split mode.
Using it on other symbols
The EA is tuned for Gold, but you can adapt it to other symbols. Price-based inputs are in price units, so they must be changed:
- TP Step (price): set it to a distance that suits the symbol (for example 0.0010 is 10 pips on EURUSD).
- Or switch the TP step unit to ATR and set the multiplier. This scales automatically to any symbol and is the easiest way to move away from Gold.
- SL Buffer is also in price units. Leave it at 0 unless you want extra room.
- Test any new symbol on demo and in the Strategy Tester before using it live.

EMA length, RSI length and level, SL lookback and buffer, TP step (price or ATR), desired TP, position mode, behaviour on a new signal while a trade is open, fixed lot or % risk, max spread, slippage, entry window, magic number, comment, display options, alerts.

- Logo: a simple gold-and-black design with “Manup’s Algo”.
- Screenshots: the chart with the Entry, SL and TP lines, the status panel, and a Strategy Tester settings page on XAUUSD M15. Don’t include profit curves with promotional text, since the rules prohibit profit promises.
- Price: this is your call. Check the current minimum on the Market rules page.
The validator also tests non-Gold symbols such as EURUSD. With the default $10 step, TPs are unreachable there, so trades will exit on the Stop Loss. That can still pass, but it looks odd. If you want to avoid it, I can make the EA scale its default step by symbol while keeping $10 on Gold.
