RatioFang Harmonic Order Panel is a manual limit-order panel for MetaTrader 5. You set the entry and stop-loss lines on the chart, enter your risk in percent, and the panel calculates the lot size and sends a limit order when you press BUY or SELL. It does not trade automatically.
The built-in RatioFang harmonic pattern indicator is included. With one button the panel can place the order lines at the entry and stop-loss guides of the newest detected pattern.
What you can do
- Draw BUY / SELL limit lines (entry and stop-loss) with the LO buttons and drag them where you want
- Lot size is calculated from your stop-loss distance and the risk percent you type in the panel (decimals such as 0.5 are accepted)
- Take profit: a risk/reward ratio, or the take-profit guides 1-3 of RatioFang
- RF button: draws the order lines from the RatioFang entry / stop-loss guides (it only draws lines, it does not send an order)
- X button: removes the order lines and closes / cancels only the orders and positions of this panel (matched by magic number and comment)
- Warnings and no order if the stop-loss is on the wrong side, or the limit price is on the wrong side of the current price
How an order is placed
- Press LO (or RF) to show the entry and stop-loss lines
- Drag the lines to the levels you want
- Press BUY or SELL: a limit order is sent with the calculated lot
Built-in RatioFang indicator
Detects Gartley, Bat, Alt Bat, Butterfly, Crab, Deep Crab, ABCD, Cypher, Shark, 5-0 and Three Drives, and draws the PRZ (Potential Reversal Zone) with entry, stop-loss and take-profit guides. It is loaded automatically when you attach the panel. The panel also works without any pattern: the LO / BUY / SELL buttons and the lot calculation do not depend on it.
Safety features
- Test mode is ON by default. While it is on, pressing a button does not send any order; the details are written to the Experts log. Turn it off yourself in the inputs after you have tried it on a demo account.
- Orders are sent only when you press BUY / SELL. There is no automatic entry.
- If the calculated lot is below the symbol's minimum lot, the panel can refuse to trade (setting: Do not trade if the minimum lot exceeds the allowed risk)
- Resend after a price or stop error is limited to a set number of attempts, and a second order cannot be queued while a resend is in progress
Input parameters (all in English)
- Safety: test mode, block over-risk trades, max resend attempts
- Risk: default risk percent, capital basis (fixed amount or account balance), fixed amount, take profit method, risk/reward ratio
- Trading: magic number, max slippage
- RatioFang: load the built-in indicator automatically
- Panel: position and colors
Strategy Tester
The panel is operated by buttons, so in the Strategy Tester it runs a short automatic demonstration: every few bars it presses LO + BUY, LO + SELL and then X (close all / cancel), the same way you would. Orders in the tester are virtual. On a real chart nothing is automatic and test mode stays on by default.
Notes
- Install: attach to one chart; turn on Algo Trading to place orders. Works on any symbol and timeframe.
- With test mode off, pressing BUY / SELL sends a real order. Check the price, stop-loss, take profit and lot before every order.
- A stop-loss does not guarantee the loss: slippage and fast markets can cause a larger loss than planned. The lot calculation is a guide, not a guarantee.
- Harmonic patterns do not guarantee any result. The guides are not trading advice or a promise of profit. Test on a demo account first.
- The product does not use DLLs or external files.
