MTrading Smc Atlas
MTrading Smc Atlas is an Expert Advisor for MetaTrader 5 that applies a defined sequence of Smart Money Concepts rules: liquidity sweep, displacement, market structure shift, and a later retest of a Fair Value Gap or Order Block. Its dashboard shows the current setup stage, account risk limits and the position managed by the EA.
Trading logic
The EA identifies confirmed swing levels using closed candles. A wick beyond a swing followed by a close back inside starts a candidate setup. A subsequent displacement candle must close beyond the opposite structure level. The EA then waits for a newly formed Fair Value Gap, or selects the last opposite candle as an Order Block. A later rejection candle must confirm the retest before a market entry is considered.
The optional higher timeframe filter uses confirmed market structure. The default configuration uses M15 signals and H1 structure. Stop Loss is placed beyond the sweep and, when necessary, beyond the Order Block. Take Profit uses the configured reward-to-risk ratio, which defaults to 2. The EA skips stale, expired, invalidated or already consumed setups.
Execution and risk controls
- Position size calculated from the configured percentage of equity and the Stop Loss distance. A trade is skipped when the minimum lot exceeds the risk budget.
- Spread, entry-price drift, volume, margin and trading-permission checks before entry.
- Daily equity loss and equity drawdown guards, plus daily trade count, consecutive loss and cooldown limits.
- Optional break-even and swing-based trailing stop. Both are disabled by default.
- One position per symbol and Magic Number. On netting accounts, an existing position on the symbol prevents a new entry.
There is no martingale, grid or averaging-down scheme. The EA does not require DLL imports, WebRequest access or an external subscription. Risk limits block new entries; they are not guaranteed maximum losses and do not automatically liquidate all account positions. Gaps, slippage, commissions and broker execution can increase realized losses.
Dashboard and operation
The chart dashboard displays the setup sequence, closed-candle structure, account equity, daily risk usage, drawdown, spread, managed position and closed-trade statistics. It includes pause/resume for new entries, chart layer visibility, compact mode and a two-click confirmation for closing positions managed by this EA. Dark and gold themes and configurable visual effects are available.
When account information or history is temporarily unavailable at startup, the EA remains attached and retries initialization. During operation, unavailable risk history blocks new entries until it can be read again. Persistent risk locks and consumed signal identifiers are retained across normal reinitialization.
Getting started
Attach the EA to one chart per traded symbol, enable algorithmic trading and review all inputs. Use a distinct Magic Number for independent strategies. The chart timeframe does not override the SignalTimeframe input. Load sufficient M15 and H1 history for the default configuration and keep the terminal or a suitable VPS running.
Defaults include 0.5% risk per trade, a 3% daily equity loss limit, a 10% equity drawdown limit and a maximum of four entries per day. Limits should be selected for your own account and broker. The daily loss lock resets on the next observed broker day; the drawdown lock remains persistent. RiskEpoch creates a new risk-state namespace and should not be changed merely to bypass a loss limit.
EURUSD and XAUUSD were used for functional testing. Other symbols require separate testing of broker specifications, spreads, volume steps and risk settings. Backtest with real ticks where available and evaluate the configuration on a demo account before live use. The EA does not include a news filter or a trading-session filter.
Testing and support
Dashboard screenshots labelled UI PREVIEW use illustrative data to demonstrate the interface; they are not trading results. Historical tests and software checks do not establish future profitability. Trading can result in loss of capital. Support is available through MQL5 messages and the product comments.
