Gold barely moves while Europe and America sleep. It drifts inside a narrow band for hours. Then the London and New York traders arrive, and it breaks out of that band - sometimes hard. Dracula works the night shift. It measures the overnight band, waits for gold to break out of it, takes that one trade, and then stops for the day. What it actually does 1. Overnight, it quietly records the highest and lowest price of the session. That is the range. 2. In the morning session, it watches for the first candle to close outside that range. 3. A close above the range means it buys. A close below means it sells. 4. It immediately sets a stop loss and a profit target, and sends both to your broker's server. 5. Then it is finished for the day. One trade, one position, no matter what happens next. Why the target is bigger than the stop The target is set three times further away than the stop loss. That means the robot can be wrong twice and right once and still come out ahead. In a 12-month test on gold it won only about a third of its trades - and still finished the year up. If you are used to robots that win 90 percent of the time, this will feel strange. Robots with very high win rates usually get there by refusing to close losing trades, which is exactly what empties accounts. Dracula takes its losses and moves on. What it will never do - No martingale. It never doubles up after a loss. - No grid. It never stacks trade on top of trade. - No averaging down. A losing trade is closed, not fed. - No hidden recovery mode. There is one position open at a time, and at most one new trade per day. Safety The stop loss and the target are placed on your broker's server the moment the trade opens. If your computer crashes, your internet drops, or your VPS restarts, the trade is still protected - the broker holds the orders, not the robot. The lot size is checked before every trade. If your account cannot carry the size you asked for, Dracula reduces it instead of refusing to trade or overloading the account. Honest expectations The largest drop from a peak in the 12-month test was about 28 percent of the account. A quiet week with no breakouts means no trades at all. This is a patient, slow robot, not a fast one. The results shown in the screenshots are historical Strategy Tester results on one broker's data. They are not a forecast, and nobody can promise you future profits. Recommended setup - Symbol: gold, XAUUSD. - Timeframe: H1. - Account: leverage 1:100 or higher. A low-spread account helps. - Balance: the default settings assume roughly 0.05 lots for every 2 000 units of account currency. Use a smaller lot on a smaller account. - Important: the session hours are given in your broker's server time, not your local time. If your broker's clock is different from the default, shift the four time settings to match. Other symbols The Market does not allow a robot to be locked to one symbol, so Dracula will run on anything you attach it to, and it adjusts its stop distance to suit the instrument. But the settings were built and tested on gold. On other symbols you would need to find your own session hours and your own stop size first. Try it before you buy it Every product here comes with a free version that runs in the MetaTrader Strategy Tester.
