TideMarks — Session Highs & Lows (NY, London, Tokyo)
TideMarks is a professional session tracking indicator for MetaTrader 5. Like the tide leaving its mark on the shore, TideMarks draws the exact high and low reached during each major trading session — giving you clean, reliable reference levels directly on your chart.
Built-in sessions:
Tokyo (00:00–09:00 UTC), London (08:00–16:30 UTC) and New York (13:30–20:00 UTC) are pre-configured with precise open and close times down to the minute. All times are UTC-based with a broker GMT offset input for easy adjustment.
Two fully customisable sessions:
Add any session you trade — Frankfurt, Sydney, or your own custom window — with a custom name, color and hours.
On-chart toggle buttons:
Show and hide each session directly from the chart without opening the settings panel. Button states persist across chart reloads and timeframe changes. Each session also has a dedicated Open-Close toggle button.
Open-Close range lines:
Dotted lines connecting the high and low of the opening candle to the high and low of the closing candle, giving you a visual envelope of the session's range evolution.
Session candle coloring:
The first and last candle of each session are highlighted in the session color, with directional tick marks (→ open, ← close) so you can instantly identify session boundaries.
Extend lines as live S/R:
Optionally extend the most recent session's high and low lines rightward as live support and resistance levels. Lines stop automatically when price breaks through them.
Full alert suite:
- Price breaks session high or low (with configurable cooldown)
- 5-minute warning before session opens
- Alert at session open
- 5-minute warning before session closes
- Alert at session close
All alerts fire regardless of whether the session is toggled on or off on the chart.
Clean, organised settings:
Inputs are grouped into clear sections — Colors, Session Times, Custom Sessions, General, Extend Lines, and Alerts — making configuration fast and intuitive.
