Candlestick patterns with a running score
KT Candlestick Patterns is an indicator that marks 24 Japanese candlestick patterns on your chart, names each one, and keeps score of how far price moved after every pattern on your symbol.
Each pattern is confirmed when its candle closes, so a box you see in history stays exactly where it was drawn. A panel in the top left corner counts the patterns and how often price reached the move you aim for.
What it marks
- Fifteen reversal patterns, from Engulfing, Hammer and Morning Star to Kicker, Three Outside Up and Homing Pigeon.
- Five trend continuation patterns: Marubozu, Rising and Falling Window, Fakey Breakout, Mat Hold, and Rising and Falling Three Methods.
- Four doji types: Simple, Long Legged, Gravestone and Dragonfly.
- Bullish patterns in blue, bearish patterns in red and doji in yellow, each with its name on the chart.
- An alert for every new pattern by pop-up, sound, email or push notification, naming the symbol, the timeframe and the pattern.
How it reads the chart
Most reversal patterns are marked only after the move they reverse: a bullish reversal after a decline, a bearish reversal after a rise. Min. Bars Between Patterns spaces the marks, so a busy chart stays readable.
With Performance Analysis on, every bullish and bearish pattern is measured by how far price moved in its direction before the next pattern. A move that reaches your Success Benchmark Pips counts as a win. The panel shows Total Signals, Win/Loss, Success Rate and Avg. Profit per signal.
Switch the patterns off one at a time and watch the Success Rate change. You keep the patterns that suit your symbol and timeframe.

Recommendations
Set Success Benchmark Pips to the move you usually aim for on your timeframe: a few pips on M15, more on H4. Keep Min. Input parameters
- History Bars: how many candles are scanned (5000 by default).
- Min. Bars Between Patterns: how many candles must pass before the next pattern is marked (15).
- Draw Pattern Names: shows the name next to each pattern.
- Patterns Selection and Doji Patterns: a switch for each of the 24 patterns (Harami is off by default).
- Performance Analysis: turns the measurement and the panel results on or off.
- Success Benchmark Pips: the move that counts as a win (10).
- Show Text Analysis: shows or hides the panel in the top left corner.
- Colors and Style: the colors and line style of the marks on the chart.
- Alert settings: Sound Alert, Sound File, PopUp Alert, Email Alert and Push Notifications.
Open any chart and the 24 patterns are already marked, every new one arrives as an alert when its candle closes, and the panel helps you choose the patterns worth keeping.
