Overview
PeakBreak Sentinel Strategy is a systematic breakout Expert Advisor that trades the breach of the Day, Week, and Month — 3 of the most institutionally watched price thresholds in any liquid market. When price crosses a confirmed structural level, the EA enters a market order immediately, manages the position with a virtual trailing stop entirely in memory (no broker-side SL modification), and enforces strict one-trade-per-direction-per-period discipline to avoid overexposure.
Designed for high-volatility instruments like Gold (XAUUSD) the system is built for traders who want clean structural logic with robust execution — not curve-fitted indicator stacks.
This strategy has been tested across multiple brokers to ensure robustness under different data conditions:

Backtested on XAUUSD from 2021.07.01 – 2026.04.20
→ Provides a broader historical view across multiple market cycles, including varying volatility regimes. - IC Markets (Supplementary Backtest)

→ Shorter period due to historical tick data limitations on this broker.
Both tests were conducted using real tick data where available. The difference in testing periods is strictly due to data availability, not strategy optimization bias.
Key Features
- Breakout entries on Day, Week, and Month — all 3 timeframes run simultaneously on a single chart
- Market order execution — enters at current price the moment the level is breached, no pending order lag
- Virtual trailing stop system — entirely in-memory, immune to broker stop-level restrictions and requote interference
- One trade per direction per period — Daily Buy, Daily Sell, Weekly Buy, Weekly Sell, Monthly Buy, Monthly Sell each fire at most once per bar, preventing duplicate entries
- Six independent magic numbers — clean separation of all six trade streams for portfolio tracking
- Fixed lot sizing — straightforward position sizing with broker-normalized volume to prevent invalid volume errors
- Pre-trade margin check — skips entry if free margin falls below 110% of required margin, protecting account integrity
