CORE SIGNAL ENGINE

The signal engine evaluates buy and sell opportunities using a multi-layered confirmation system. A signal is only generated when the following conditions align simultaneously: trend direction confirmed by three moving averages (Fast EMA, Slow EMA, and MA200), RSI positioned in the appropriate bullish or bearish zone, MACD histogram and signal line alignment, Stochastic oscillator within a neutral range to avoid overbought or oversold entries, price positioned above support for buys or below resistance for sells, and optional multi-timeframe confluence from a higher timeframe.

Additional filters include ADX trend strength confirmation, London and New York session filtering, spread-to-ATR ratio control, volume adequacy verification, and a Bollinger Band squeeze blocker that prevents entries during low-volatility compression phases. OBV trend direction is also evaluated to ensure volume supports the signal direction.

10-FACTOR CONFIDENCE SCORING SYSTEM

Every signal is assigned a confidence score from 1 to 10 based on ten independent factors:

RSI direction and zone positioning, MACD alignment above or below zero, triple moving average alignment including MA200, ATR volatility within optimal gold trading range, multi-timeframe RSI and MA confluence, market conditions including spread and news filter, RSI divergence detection, candlestick pattern confirmation, OBV trend direction, and Bollinger Band price positioning.

Only signals that meet the minimum confidence threshold are displayed on the chart, ensuring that noise is filtered out and only high-quality setups are presented. The confidence level is displayed directly on the chart label alongside each signal, giving the trader immediate context about signal quality.

TECHNICAL ANALYSIS SUITE

Gold Master includes a full suite of technical analysis tools that operate directly on the chart:

Moving Averages: Fast EMA (21), Slow EMA (50), and Trend MA (200) are plotted as colored lines, providing immediate visual trend context at all times.

Bollinger Bands: Upper, middle, and lower bands are plotted with squeeze detection. When the bands compress below the configured threshold, the indicator flags a squeeze condition and suppresses signals until volatility expands.

Fractals: Williams-style fractal highs and lows are marked on the chart, helping identify key swing points and potential reversal zones.

ATR Bands: Dynamic stop loss and take profit projection bands are drawn above and below each bar based on ATR multipliers, giving a visual representation of risk levels at any point in time.

Support and Resistance: Dynamic support and resistance levels are calculated using a 20-bar lookback and plotted as dotted lines, updating in real time as price evolves.

Pivot Points: Daily classic pivot points including PP, R1, R2, R3, S1, S2, and S3 are calculated from the previous day's high, low, and close. These can be displayed as horizontal lines on the chart with configurable colors and styles.

Automatic S/R Zones: A clustering algorithm scans the last N bars for swing highs and lows, groups nearby levels into zones using ATR-based proximity, and draws the most significant support and resistance levels as horizontal lines. Touch count filtering ensures only validated levels are shown.

Fibonacci Retracements: Automatic Fibonacci levels are calculated from the most significant swing high and low within a configurable lookback period. All seven standard levels are drawn and labeled, with trend direction detection to determine whether the retracement is bullish or bearish.

DIVERGENCE AND PATTERN DETECTION

The indicator continuously scans for RSI divergences and candlestick patterns, both of which contribute to the confidence scoring system and are displayed in the information panel.

Divergence detection identifies bullish divergence when price makes a lower low while RSI makes a higher low, and bearish divergence when price makes a higher high while RSI makes a lower high. A configurable minimum RSI difference threshold prevents false positives.

Candlestick pattern recognition covers six high-probability formations: Bullish Engulfing, Bearish Engulfing, Hammer, Shooting Star, Morning Star, and Evening Star, plus Doji identification. Patterns are detected on the most recent completed bar and displayed in the Technical tab of the panel.

MARKET STRUCTURE ANALYSIS

A dedicated market structure engine analyzes recent swing highs and lows to classify the current market condition as one of five states: Uptrend with higher highs and higher lows, Downtrend with lower highs and lower lows, Expanding range, Contracting range, or Ranging. This classification is updated on every bar and displayed prominently in the Overview tab.

INTERACTIVE TABBED INFORMATION PANEL

The information panel is a fully interactive, draggable overlay that organizes all analytical data into four tabs:

Overview tab displays real-time bid and ask prices, spread in points, ATR value, volatility classification, current trading session, daily range percentage versus 14-day average, market conditions status, daily open, previous close, weekly high and low, daily high and low, market structure, candle time remaining for both current and higher timeframes, and total signal count broken down by buys and sells.

Technical tab displays RSI with zone classification, MACD with directional status, Stochastic with overbought and oversold detection, MA trend direction with MA200 context, ADX with trend strength classification, Bollinger Band position with squeeze alert, OBV trend direction, last detected candlestick pattern, last detected divergence, and multi-timeframe RSI and trend analysis.

Signal tab displays the current signal direction, confidence score out of 10, strength label, stop loss and take profit values in dollars and points, risk-to-reward ratio, and SL and TP distances in pips.

Levels tab displays all seven daily pivot points, all seven Fibonacci retracement levels with trend direction, and current dynamic support and resistance values.

The panel supports minimize and close buttons, and can be repositioned anywhere on the chart by dragging the header. The background uses a dark gold color scheme with configurable transparency from 25 to 100 percent, defaulting to 85 percent for optimal readability.

RISK MANAGEMENT

All risk parameters are ATR-based, ensuring they adapt dynamically to current market volatility. Stop loss distance is calculated as ATR multiplied by a configurable multiplier, defaulting to 1.5x. Take profit distance uses a separate multiplier defaulting to 3.0x, producing a default risk-to-reward ratio of 1:2. These values are displayed in real time in the Signal tab and updated on every tick.

MULTI-BROKER COMPATIBILITY

Gold Master is designed to work across all brokers regardless of symbol naming conventions. The indicator automatically detects gold symbols including XAUUSD, XAUUSD.m, XAUUSD.pro, GOLD, XAUUSD.raw, and any other variation containing XAU or GOLD in the symbol name. All indicator handles are initialized using the detected symbol, ensuring full compatibility without any manual configuration.

TRADING STRATEGIES

Gold Master supports multiple trading approaches:

Trend following: Use the MA alignment and ADX filter to identify strong trending conditions. Enter on pullbacks to the Fast EMA when RSI is in the bullish zone and MACD confirms direction. Use ATR bands for stop placement.

Breakout trading: Monitor the Bollinger Band squeeze indicator. When the squeeze resolves and a signal fires with high confidence, enter in the direction of the breakout with a stop below the recent fractal low or above the recent fractal high.

Reversal trading: Combine RSI divergence detection with candlestick pattern confirmation. A bullish divergence accompanied by a Hammer or Morning Star pattern near a key support level or Fibonacci retracement provides a high-probability reversal setup.

Session-based trading: Use the London and New York session filter to restrict signals to the highest-liquidity overlap period between 13:00 and 17:00 UTC, where gold typically exhibits the strongest directional moves.

Multi-timeframe confluence: Enable the MTF analysis and set the higher timeframe to H4 or D1. Require confluence so that signals on the current timeframe are only taken when the higher timeframe trend and RSI agree with the signal direction.
