Analytics V Utility: Monitoring Trading Advisors

Purpose

This utility is designed to automatically collect, aggregate, and structure key metrics for trading advisors (expert systems) running on a broker's server. It allows traders or managers to monitor the status of all connected accounts and the performance of their advisors in real time.

Main functions

1. Automatic data collection from the server:

• connection to the server via FTP (including to the free UCOZ file manager server provided when creating the site);
• regular survey of all linked trading accounts;
• receiving up-to-date data for each active advisor.

2. Collecting key metrics:

• trading account number;
• current floating profit/loss;
• profit received (realized P&L);
• drawdown as a percentage of the deposit (drawdown%);
• account balance (balance);
• equity;
• list of currency pairs that the advisor works with;
• status of permits for trading inside the terminal;
• status of permissions for automated trading in the advisor;
• time of last data update (timestamp);
• number of open positions;
• a number of other meanings.

3. Data structuring and visualization:

• presentation of information in the form of a list;
• arrow indication of critical values (for example, when the drawdown is > 50% - red background of the button + arrow);
• grouping data by advisors.

4. Notification system:

• Instant alerts when specified thresholds are reached (drawdown, profit, change in permission status).

5. Additional features:

• history of metric changes for: day, week, month, 3 months, 6 months, year, all time;
• calculation of derivative indicators (e.g. profit/drawdown).

Interface and ease of use

• Main window: a table with key metrics, updated in real time (6-minute interval).
• Status bar: display:
• time of last update;
• number of connected accounts;
• total balance for all accounts.
