A gold EA that waits for the pullback instead of chasing the breakout. FiboZone Volume XAUUSD runs 8 independent strategy streams on one XAUUSD chart. Each one waits for price to retrace into the optimal trade entry (OTE) zone of a fresh impulse and enters only after M1 confirms the turn. Every order has a hard stop loss from the moment it is placed.
At a glance
- Gold only: built and tuned for XAUUSD. One chart, any timeframe.
- 8 strategy streams: M5, M15, M30 and H1 impulse legs, each with its own settings, all filtered by H4 and D1 market structure.
- Hard stop loss on every order: set when the order is placed. It is only ever moved toward break-even, never further away.
- No grid, no open-ended averaging: at most 4 orders per setup, all placed in advance inside one fixed stop loss. The maximum loss of a setup is known before it opens.
- Risk in % of balance: you set the loss for a setup that fills completely and hits its stop.
- 3 ready presets: Conservative, Standard and Aggressive .set files in the comments section.
- Fully testable: no DLLs, no web requests, no external data. What you see in the Strategy Tester with real ticks is the same logic that trades.
Why pullbacks
Most gold EAs buy breakouts. FiboZone does the opposite: after an impulse it waits for the retracement into 0.705 to 0.95 of the move. Entering there puts the stop loss close to the entry while the first target is the 0.618 extension of the whole impulse, so a single winning setup can pay for several small losses.
How it works
- Direction: break of structure on H4 and D1 decides whether the EA may buy or sell.
- Setup: each stream tracks impulse legs of 1.0 to 2.5 ATR on its timeframe and is armed when price retraces into the OTE zone.
- Entry: the first order opens when M1 breaks its last swing in the trend direction (change of character). The stop loss goes beyond the pullback extreme plus an ATR buffer.
- Layers: up to 3 limit orders between the entry and the stop loss (spacing 0.2 R, lot ratio 1:2:4:8). Set Layers per basket = 1 for a single order per setup.
- Exit: at the 0.618 extension 70% of the position closes and the stop of the rest moves to break-even; the runner aims for a further target.
Be clear about the risk
- The extra limit orders add to a position inside the stop loss. They never extend past it.
- The optional loss-sequence multiplier raises the risk of a stream's next setup by 1.5 after a loss, for at most 2 steps. It is off in the Conservative preset and can be turned off in any preset.
- Up to 8 setups (one per stream) can be open at the same time.
- Optional equity stop, spread filter, daily limit per stream and trading hours. No orders are sent outside the symbol's trading session.
Presets and backtest

- Standard (default; 0.5%, multiplier 1.5 for 2 steps): largest relative equity drawdown 29.5%, 3 losing months out of 22, worst month -17.7%.

Requirements
- Symbol: XAUUSD (GOLD). Hedging account with low gold spreads; the default spread filter is 0.80.
- Minimum balance: 3,000 USD. 10,000 USD or more lets all 4 layers open at the minimum lot; with less the EA uses fewer layers or skips the setup and tells you the balance it needs.
- A VPS is recommended so the EA runs 24 hours on trading days.
Main inputs
- Basket risk, % of balance; layers per basket; layer spacing and lot multiplier
- Runner share and runner target
- Loss-sequence multiplier and maximum steps
- Equity stop, maximum spread, baskets per day, trading hours
- Streams A to H: on/off, structure timeframe, impulse size, higher-timeframe filter, risk multiplier
