# MiniBull Price Action v49.14
**A complete top-down trading map on one chart: market direction, the zones worth trading, and the exact moment a reversal is confirmed — calculated on closed bars only, no repaint.**
MiniBull Price Action answers three questions in order, the same way a disciplined discretionary trader does:
1. **Direction** – Is this a bull market, a bear market, or no market at all?
2. **Zone** – Where is the price worth trading? (In a bull market: pullbacks. In a bear market: rallies.)
3. **Trigger** – Has the price actually turned in that zone? (M1/M5/M15 structure, trend line, pattern and candle confirmation.)
Everything the indicator concludes is explained in plain language on a compact information card, so you always know *why* the market is classified the way it is and *what to do* about it.
---
## Who is it for?
- Traders of **indices (NAS100, US30, SPX500, GER40…), gold, oil, forex and crypto** who want a structured, rule-based view instead of a cluttered chart.
- Intraday traders who enter on **M1/M5** but want every entry aligned with the **H1 → D1 → W1 → MN** picture.
- EA developers who want ready-made, non-repainting signals through **iCustom buffers**.
---
## 1. Market class – the direction layer
Seven classes from **STRONG BULL** to **STRONG BEAR**, calculated from the last **closed** bar of the class timeframe (H1 by default, so the class stays steady on M1/M5 charts):
- **Anchors:** monthly KAMA and weekly KAMA (the long-term character).
- **Confirmations:** daily KAMA, a long AMA (200) and a short AMA (9) on the class timeframe.
- 32 combinations map to: STRONG BULL, BULL, CAUTIOUS BULL, NEUTRAL, CAUTIOUS BEAR, BEAR, STRONG BEAR.
The card shows each component with its **% distance** from price and a one-sentence interpretation, for example: *"Main trend (month + week) up; one confirmation is weak – a small pullback is underway."*
When monthly history is too short (for example at the start of a Strategy Tester run), a mathematically equivalent approximation is used automatically and reported in the Journal.
---
## 2. Direction zones – where to trade
The class decides the side; the depth of the move decides the strength:
| Bull market – buy pullbacks | Bear market – sell rallies |
|---|---|
| Pullback to **H1 MA** → WEAK BUY | Rally to **H1 MA** → WEAK SELL |
| Pullback to **H4 MA** → BUY | Rally to **H4 MA** → SELL |
| Pullback to **H8 / H12 MA** → HIGH BUY OPPORTUNITY | Rally to **H8 / H12 MA** → HIGH SELL OPPORTUNITY |
A zone is "touched" when price comes within a fraction of the daily ATR (adjustable). **Confluence** is added automatically when a key level is in the same place: previous day / week / month low or high, broken levels that changed role, the weekly or monthly KAMA, or the edge of an active trend channel.
In a NEUTRAL market the indicator tells you to wait.
---
## 3. Entry trigger – the confirmation layer (M1 / M5 / M15)
Once price is in a zone, the indicator waits (30 minutes by default) for proof that the pullback is over. It works on a **fixed window of closed bars**, independent of your zoom, so the result is identical on every chart and in the Strategy Tester.
**Trigger types**
- **Structure break** – close above the last lower high of the pullback (below the last higher low in a bear market).
- **Pullback trend line break** – including **falling wedge** and **bull flag** recognition (rising wedge / bear flag in a bear market).
- **Neckline break** of a **double/triple bottom or inverse head & shoulders** on M5 or M15 (tops / head & shoulders in a bear market).
**Strength 1–4 (WEAK / MEDIUM / STRONG / STRONGEST)**
- Base: the zone depth (H1 = 1, H4 = 2, H8/H12 = 3).
- **+1** for an M5 or M15 trigger, **+1** for double confirmation (two trigger types at once), **+1** when the pullback was a flag.
- **+1** for a matching **candle pattern** on M5 (engulfing, pin bar, morning/evening star, inside-bar breakout).
- **+1** when the **H1 candle** that touched the zone is itself a reversal candle.
- **+1** when a counter-trend H4/D1 pattern has just produced a **fake** breakout.
**Every trigger comes with**
- **Stop**: beyond the extreme of the pullback, with a small H1-ATR buffer.
- **Target**: the nearest opposing level (window high/low, previous day, week or month).
- **R:R** ratio.
**Built-in filters – the trigger is still shown, but marked with a warning**
- High-impact news within 15 minutes.
- Price already too far from the zone ("too late, wait for the next one").
- R:R below the minimum (1.5 by default).
- Broadening formation (volatile, indecisive market).
- A confirmed counter-trend **D1 pattern together with a weekly KAMA break against the trade** (possible character change).
One trigger per zone. Stop and target lines are drawn on the chart.
---
## 4. Pattern recognition
**Candle patterns** – bullish/bearish engulfing, hammer / shooting star (pin bar), morning / evening star, inside-bar breakout. Tiny candles are ignored, and patterns only count when they formed after the zone was reached.
**Reversal chart patterns** – double top/bottom, triple top/bottom, head & shoulders and inverse head & shoulders:
- **M5 / M15:** the neckline break inside a zone is an entry trigger.
- **H4 / D1:** context. A confirmed pattern against the market class adds a caution ("trend weakening – smaller lot") but **never blocks trading**. In a bull market, an H4 head & shoulders break often *is* the deep pullback that creates the best buy zone.
- Reversal patterns require a prior trend and a minimum height (ATR based).
- Breakouts are confirmed by closes beyond the neckline (2 bars by default). A close back inside marks the break as **FAKE**.
- Measured target = pattern height projected from the neckline.
**Trend lines, triangles, wedges and channels** (on the chart timeframe):
- Upper and lower trend lines with no close beyond them. Broken lines stay visible, marked with an X.
- Ascending, descending and symmetrical triangle; rising and falling wedge; rising, falling and horizontal channel; broadening formation.
- Channels are interpreted by market class: a falling channel in a bull market is a **bull flag**, a rising channel is a **trend channel** whose lower edge is a buy area.
- Breakouts are confirmed or marked as fake, with a measured target.
---
## 5. Key levels and breakouts
- **Multi-timeframe support/resistance** – highest high and lowest low of a lookback on MN1, W1, D1, H4, H1 (M30–M1 optional). Equal prices are merged ("R D1/H4").
- **Previous day high/low (PDH/PDL)** – the "day" follows the real session of the instrument: 18:00 New York for indices/futures, 17:00 New York for forex/gold, 00:00 UTC for crypto/Brent. It is detected automatically and can be set manually. Breaks are confirmed by an M5 close, and returns into the range are reported as possible fake breaks.
- **Previous week and month (PWH/PWL, PMH/PML)** – same logic with M15 close confirmation.
- **All-time high** – real vs fake breaks: a break, a hold (4 × M15 closes above the record), a fake break, a wick rejection, or the record level lost.
- **Moving-average levels** (SMA/EMA/KAMA) of MN1 to M1 as horizontal lines. Simple mode shows only H1/H4/H8/H12, the levels the zones are built on.
- **AMA(200) and AMA(9)** curves on the chart.
---
## 6. Character change – weekly and monthly KAMA
Detects when the long-term character really changes, using daily closes:
- **Sharp break** – a daily close beyond the weekly/monthly KAMA by at least 0.5 × ATR.
- **Tested** – price returns to the KAMA and holds on the new side: change confirmed.
- **Breakaway** – 3 daily closes on the new side without a test: change confirmed.
- **Failed break** – a close back on the old side.
- A break of a **flat** KAMA is labelled "weak".
The card tells the whole story: which day, which close, how many ATR, whether the KAMA was sloping, and what happened next.
---
## 7. Sessions and news
- **Tokyo, Frankfurt, London and New York** opens and closes, each with **its own daylight-saving rule** (US and Europe switch on different dates). Includes the Tokyo lunch break and the London–New York overlap.
- **High-impact news** (USD, JPY, EUR) from the built-in MT5 economic calendar, with a notice 60 minutes before by default.
- All times come from the broker server clock and are shown in your local time, whatever your broker's UTC offset.
---
## 8. The information card
Top left, compact by default (no information overload). **Click to expand.**
- **Compact view:** market class, the one thing that matters now (trigger, zone or what to do), trend arrows MN / W1 / D1 / AMA, weekly character, next news.
- **Expanded view:** every class component with % distance, weekly and monthly character, broken levels, chart patterns on D1/H4/M15/M5, active zone, open sessions, plain-language interpretation and the character-change story.
- **Footer:** the single most important caution (character break against the trend, counter-trend H4/D1 pattern, broadening formation, chasing), or a reminder such as *"Wait for the pullback. Patience is a position too."*
- Moves automatically below the one-click trading panel.
**On-chart notices** appear centred at the top and fade after 60 seconds. They are triggered by class changes, zone entries, triggers, level breaks, pattern breakouts, sessions and news. Popup alerts are available for every module and are **off by default**.
---
## 9. For EA developers – iCustom buffers
All values are written on closed bars and never repaint.
| Buffer | Content |
|---|---|
| 0, 1 | AMA long / AMA short (drawn) |
| 2 | **Trigger signal**: +1…+4 valid buy (strength), −1…−4 valid sell, ±(10 + strength) = trigger with a warning, 0 = none |
| 3 | Structure stop price of the trigger |
| 4 | Weekly character: +1 bull, −1 bear, ±0.5 = sharp break pending in the new direction |
| 5 | Zone armed: ±1 H1, ±2 H4, ±3 H8/H12 |
| 6 | Market class on every bar (−3 … +3, 0 = neutral or not ready) |
| 7 | H4/D1 pattern context: confirmed pattern direction, ±0.5 H4, ±1 D1 (summed when both are active) |
**Fast Strategy Tester mode** – in non-visual tests the logic runs once per new M1 bar and drawing is skipped. Results are identical, and tests run much faster.
---
## 10. Performance
Designed to stay light on heavy M1 charts with 100,000+ bars:
- Panels refresh at most every 500 ms, while new bars are always processed immediately.
- Higher-timeframe calculations run only when their own bar closes.
- Chart objects are cached and rewritten only when something actually changes. There are no blocking chart queries in the update loop.
- A built-in performance log writes any update slower than 300 ms to the Experts tab, with the slow part named.
---
## 11. Languages
English, Türkçe, Deutsch, Русский, Italiano, Español, Français, 日本語. Select the language in the inputs. For Japanese, a Japanese-capable font is used automatically (configurable).
---
## How to use
1. Attach the indicator to any chart. **M1 or M5** is ideal for entries, and the class and zones come from higher timeframes automatically.
2. Read the card: **class → zone → trigger**.
3. In a bull market, wait for a pullback zone; in a bear market, wait for a rally zone. Do not trade in a NEUTRAL market.
4. When a trigger appears, check its strength, warnings, stop, target and R:R. Warned triggers are information, not entries.
5. Respect the footer caution: a counter-trend character break or H4/D1 pattern means a smaller position size.
---
## Notes
- **No repaint:** classes, zones, triggers, level breaks, pattern breakouts and character changes use closed bars only.
- The **trend line / triangle / channel drawing** follows the visible bars on purpose: it is a visual aid and can change when you zoom. Triggers and the card's advice do **not** depend on zoom.
- **Strategy Tester:** session and news notices need the live clock and calendar, so they are not available in the tester. The broker UTC offset is detected from price data, and the trigger news filter is inactive in the tester.
- Higher-timeframe history must be available at your broker. Missing monthly data is handled with an approximation.
- The indicator does not open trades.
