# MiniBull Price Action
**Version 1.82 · MetaTrader 5 indicator · English / Türkçe**
**Short description (for the listing card):**
See what price just did on nine timeframes at once. Speed of the last closed bar, jump alerts, support and resistance, buy and sell zones, trend lines and adaptive moving averages, summed up in one plain sentence. Information only, no signals.
---
## What it is
MiniBull Price Action is a chart companion that answers one question quickly: **what is price doing right now, on every timeframe that matters?**
It reads the last closed bar on nine timeframes (MN, W1, D1, H4, H1, M30, M15, M5, M1) plus the live tick, and puts the result into a compact panel with a single guiding sentence such as *"Big picture up, right now pulling back."* On the chart it draws the levels and lines most traders draw by hand: support and resistance, buy and sell zones, upper and lower trend lines, and two adaptive moving averages.
It does **not** tell you to buy or sell. It prepares the chart so that you can decide faster and with the whole picture in front of you.
---
## Why "speed"
Speed is distance divided by time. On a chart, the distance is how far price moved and the time is one bar.
The indicator uses one rule on every timeframe, without exception:
> **The speed of a timeframe is the move of its last closed bar, close to close.**
The forming bar is never used for the calculation, so values do not flicker while a bar is still open. The live tick is shown separately, as the difference between the current price and the last closed M1 close.
A **jump** is a bar whose move is unusually large compared with the bars just before it:
> **Ratio = move of the last closed bar ÷ average move of the previous four bars**
When the ratio reaches your threshold (3 by default), the bar is marked as a jump.
---
## What you see
### 1. The panel
A dark, compact panel in the corner of the chart, placed below the one-click trading buttons so that they stay usable.
- **One sentence first.** Big picture (MN, W1, D1) and right now (M15, M5) combined into a single line, for example *"Big picture down, right now recovering."*
- **Jump status.** Whether any timeframe has just closed a jump bar, which one, and how large. The most recent jump stays visible with its time.
- **Nearest resistance and support** with the timeframe they come from and the distance from the current price.
- **Trend lines.** The current value of the upper and lower line, how far price is from each, and the last break.
- **Direction filter.** Where price stands against the monthly and weekly adaptive moving average.
- **Nine-timeframe table.** Speed in points and ratio for each timeframe, coloured by direction, with jump rows highlighted. A tick row shows the live move.
**Three sizes, one click.** Click the title or press **P** to cycle between full (sentences and table), medium (sentences only) and title only. The panel scales with screen resolution, so it stays readable on high-density displays.
If the chart stops receiving new bars, the panel says so plainly instead of showing stale numbers.
### 2. Jump arrows
Every jump bar on the chart timeframe gets an arrow, **including history**, so you can scroll back and see how the market behaved after earlier jumps.
### 3. Support and resistance
Horizontal levels from the timeframes you choose (H1, H4 and D1 by default; M15, M30, W1 and MN are available).
- A level is a turning point: a bar whose high (or low) stands above (or below) the bars on both sides.
- Levels that price has already gone through are removed automatically.
- Only the nearest levels above and below the current price are shown for each timeframe, so the chart stays clean.
- Each line carries a short label with its timeframe and price.
### 4. Buy zones and sell zones
Shaded bands at the turning points (M1, M5, H1 and H4 by default; M15, M30 and D1 are available).
- A zone is the wick of the turning candle, from the extreme to the edge of the body.
- Very thin zones are widened to a minimum thickness based on the average bar range.
- Zones are drawn behind the candles in soft, transparent colours and are consistent with the support and resistance lines of the same timeframe.
### 5. Trend lines
An upper and a lower trend line on the chart timeframe, found with one clear rule:
1. Clear turning points are located in the window.
2. The **upper line** goes through two tops, has no close above it, and is the one **closest to price**. The **lower line** is the mirror image through two bottoms.
3. If a bar **closes** on the other side, the line is broken. A wick that goes through and comes back does not break it.
When a line breaks, the break is marked, the old line stays on the chart as a dotted line, and the next valid line is drawn.
**Based on what you see.** By default the window is the set of bars visible on screen: zoom or scroll and the lines are recalculated for that view. A fixed number of bars can be used instead.
### 6. Adaptive moving averages
Two Kaufman adaptive moving averages on the chart timeframe (periods 9 and 180 by default), in separate colours. They use the same calculation as the standard MetaTrader AMA.
### 7. Direction filter
A single line of context:
- Price **below** both the monthly and the weekly adaptive moving average: **NO BUY**
- Price **above** both: **NO SELL**
- One above, one below: no restriction
The filter never hides or changes anything else. Arrows, jumps and trend breaks appear as usual; the filter only adds its note to the panel and to the alert text. A stricter mode, where one timeframe is enough, is available.
### 8. Alerts
- A jump on any timeframe from M5 upwards (M1 optional)
- A trend line break on the chart timeframe
- A change in the direction filter
Alerts can be shown in the terminal and sent to your phone as push notifications. No alerts are raised for bars that were already closed when the indicator was loaded.
---
## How to use it
1. Attach the indicator to any chart. The panel appears below the trading buttons.
2. Read the first sentence. It tells you whether the higher timeframes and the short term agree.
3. Check the nearest support and resistance and how far away they are.
4. Use the trend lines and zones to see where price is inside the current structure.
5. When a jump alert arrives, look at the timeframe and the ratio before reacting. A jump tells you that something unusual happened; it does not tell you what happens next.
A practical layout is one M1 or M5 chart for timing with the full panel, and one H1 chart for structure with the panel reduced to its title.

## Good to know
- **Works on any symbol and any timeframe.** Indices, metals, energy, currencies, crypto. Values are shown in the symbol's own price units.
- **Closed bars only.** All calculations use closed bars. Nothing is recalculated backwards and arrows do not move once a bar is closed.
- **Higher timeframe history.** The monthly row and the direction filter need enough monthly history from your broker. Until it is loaded the panel shows that it is waiting.
- **Weekly and monthly bars are not flagged as jumps.** They are shown in the table for context only.
- **Trend lines follow the visible window.** Zooming out gives longer, broader lines; zooming in gives shorter, tighter ones. This is by design.
- **Light on resources.** Calculations run once per closed M1 bar and when the view changes, not on every tick.
- **One instance per chart.** Remove the previous version before attaching a new one.

## What it is not
MiniBull Price Action is an indicator, not an Expert Advisor. It is a helper: it does not open or close trades and it does not tell you which direction to take. The decision is always yours.
---
## Frequently asked questions
**Does the indicator repaint?**
Speed values, jump arrows and alerts are based on closed bars and do not change afterwards. Support, resistance, zones and trend lines are redrawn as new bars close, because levels get broken and new turning points appear; that is their purpose.
**Why did a jump appear after several quiet bars when the move itself was not large?**
The ratio compares a bar with the four bars before it. After a very quiet stretch a normal bar can reach the threshold. Raise the threshold (for example to 5) if you only want the larger events.
**The panel overlaps another tool on my chart.**
Change the distance from the left or from the top, or reduce the panel to its title with a click or the **P** key.
**Can I use it together with an Expert Advisor?**
Yes. The indicator only reads prices and draws objects with its own name prefix. It does not touch orders or positions.
**The monthly row says "no data".**
Your broker has not provided enough monthly history for this symbol yet. Open a monthly chart of the symbol once to let the terminal download it.
**Which language is used?**
English by default. Turkish can be selected in the first input. Input descriptions in the settings window are in English.
