- Alligator lines in bullish order: Lips > Teeth > Jaw
- Mouth size > minimum threshold (prevents sideways markets)

- ADX > minimum level (confirms trend strength)

- Price closed BELOW Alligator for N bars (confirms trend)
- Alligator lines in bearish order: Lips < Teeth < Jaw
- Mouth size > minimum threshold
- Awesome Oscillator negative AND falling for N bars
