- Launch (NOW) — First 10 buyers — €650 (the lowest price this system will ever offer)
- Second tranche — Subsequent places — rises progressively from €650 to €850
- Final price — From then on — €2,200
MAIN FEATURES
- Entry core based on range breakout, confirmed with proprietary EMAs, momentum (RSI+CCI), trend strength (ADX) and statistical regime (Hurst + linear regression).
- Four parallel profit-protection systems.
- “Gold Only” guard: the EA checks the symbol by base currency (XAU) on start-up and refuses to trade on any market that is not gold, regardless of the name your broker gives the symbol (XAUUSD, XAUUSD.a, XAUUSDm, GOLD…).
- Dual news filter: MT5 economic calendar + live geopolitical filter via BBC RSS feed.
- Automatic Telegram alerts: trade openings and closings, and immediate warning of high-impact news or war-related events that may affect gold.
- Complete visual panel on the chart showing the status of every filter and every protection system — and broker-agnostic architecture, compatible with any MT5 that offers a Hedging account on XAUUSD.
1. WHAT IS XAULUX AI
XAULUX AI is an Expert Advisor (EA) for MetaTrader 5 developed by XBK Systems, designed specifically to trade XAUUSD (spot gold) on the M15 chart. It combines a range-breakout entry core with a controlled recovery system, several market-context filters (trend, momentum, volatility, statistical regime), and — the differentiating element of this version — a set of informational protection layers against news and geopolitical events, with direct notification to the trader via Telegram.
The system is designed for the trader who wants to automate gold trading without losing control over what is happening: every filter, every block and every close is reflected in a visual panel on the chart and, optionally, notified by instant messaging.
1.1 Symbol and timeframe
- Recommended symbol: XAUUSD (spot gold against the dollar)
- Reference timeframe: M15 (15 minutes) — recommended operating timeframe on which to attach the EA to the chart
- Internal signal timeframe: the EA manages its own price-reference cycle independently of the visible chart, so it can be analysed on M15 while the entry engine works with its own timing
- Required account type: Hedging. The EA checks the account mode on start-up and will not trade on a Netting account, because the recovery-level counting requires independent positions
- Broker: broker-agnostic architecture — compatible with any MT5 broker that offers Hedging accounts on XAUUSD
- Symbol protection: the EA checks the chart symbol on start-up by base currency (XAU), not by name — it refuses to trade if it detects a market that is not gold, in any environment (live, demo or Strategy Tester)
1.2 Strategy philosophy
The entry core looks for short-term range breakouts confirmed by a configurable combination of trend filters (across several timeframes), momentum, directional strength and statistical regime (a Hurst + linear-regression filter that distinguishes between trending markets and mean-reverting markets). If price moves against the first entry, the system can open additional recovery levels with fixed or dynamic spacing, up to a configurable maximum number of levels.
Added to this are several profit-management and capital-protection layers that act in parallel — a global basket trailing stop, a trend-change close, a special close for holiday-period trading, and a total-exposure cap — all of them additive and independently deactivatable.
2. BACKTESTING: WHY YOU MUST DEMAND REAL TICKS
This point is critical and directly affects the reliability of any test you run with the system before trading live.
Like any EA, the accuracy of the backtest depends enormously on the quality of the historical data. MetaTrader 5 allows several test modes (“Open prices only”, “1 minute OHLC”, “Every tick based on real ticks” and “Every tick”), and only one of them reconstructs the intra-bar movement with sufficient precision for a system that decides, inside the same 15-minute candle, whether to open a recovery, move a trailing stop or close the entire basket.
- Open the Strategy Tester in MetaTrader 5 (View → Strategy Tester, or Ctrl+R).
- Select XAULUX AI as the Expert Advisor and XAUUSD as the symbol.
- Under “Modelling”, choose exclusively “Every tick based on real ticks”. This mode uses the broker’s real historical ticks when they are available, instead of generating them synthetically from M1 candles.
- If your broker does not have a sufficiently long real-tick history, download data from a provider that does offer them for the symbol and period you want to test, and import them into the MT5 Download Centre before launching the test.
- Configure the test period, initial deposit and leverage to match your live account, and verify that the spread used in the test approximates the average real spread of your broker on XAUUSD (an artificially low test spread inflates the results of any grid system).
A test in “Control points” or “Open prices only” can show results that are noticeably different — normally more optimistic — than live trading, precisely because it does not accurately reconstruct the real order in which recovery levels, trailing stops and closes are hit inside each candle. Always demand “Every tick based on real ticks” before drawing any conclusion about the system’s historical performance.
3. NEWS FILTERS AND TRADING BLOCKS
XAULUX AI incorporates two completely independent news systems, each with its own purpose. It is important to understand that these filters only block the OPENING of new trades — they never interfere with Take Profit, trailing or stop-loss closes of positions that are already open.
3.1 Economic calendar filter (MT5)
Uses the native MetaTrader 5 economic calendar. Before opening a first entry, the EA checks whether there is a High-impact event approaching (within a configurable window of minutes before and after) whose name contains any of the keywords that usually move gold strongly: Non-Farm Payrolls (NFP), CPI, PCE, Fed interest-rate decisions (FOMC), GDP, ISM, retail sales, unemployment claims, among others. If High impact and a keyword coincide, it blocks the opening of first entries during that window.
3.2 Live geopolitical filter — BBC RSS
This is the most relevant system for real-time trading and works completely automatically, with no need for any paid API or registration. The EA periodically downloads the public, free BBC World News RSS feed and analyses the headlines for war or conflict vocabulary relevant to gold as a safe-haven asset.
Every headline that combines a conflict term with a relevant zone adds a score according to its severity (critical, high, medium or low). If the sum reaches the configured threshold, a temporary block of configurable hours (by default several hours) is armed and resolves itself automatically when the time expires. The system also cross-checks the headline against de-escalation vocabulary (ceasefire, peace talks, etc.) so as not to block by mistake on calming news after an already-known conflict.
This geopolitical filter ONLY works on a live or demo account (not inside the Strategy Tester, where MetaTrader does not allow network traffic). It requires authorising a URL in the terminal options — explained step by step in the installation guide, section 5.
3.3 Why the system may take a long time to trade in some periods
This is expected and deliberate behaviour, not a fault. The combination of all active filters — economic calendar, live geopolitical filter, holiday seasonal filter, volatility-regime filter and the trend-change filter — can mean that, during seasons of high uncertainty (elections, active geopolitical tensions, government shutdowns, weeks with many relevant macro data releases), the system spends more time than usual without opening any new positions.
This design is intentional: XAULUX AI prioritises trading when the market is calmer and volatility is not abnormally high, rather than forcing entries in elevated-risk conditions just to keep activity going. A long period without trading does not mean the system is failing — it normally means the filters are doing exactly their job.
4. CALENDAR TIME-ZONE CORRECTION (CalendarGMTOffsetHours)
The parameter (Manual hour correction for calendar) is, together with the RSS filter, one of the most important settings to calibrate after installing the EA. By default it is set to –0.5, a value calibrated for a broker whose server is on Central European Time (as is usual with brokers oriented to clients in Spain and the rest of continental Europe). However, every broker synchronises its MT5 server to a different time zone, so this value may need adjustment.
4.1 Why this setting exists
MetaTrader 5 compares the times of economic-calendar events against TimeCurrent(), which is the broker’s SERVER time — not your local time nor universal GMT/UTC time. That offset between server and GMT varies from broker to broker (it can be 0, +1, +2, +3 hours, or even decimal values depending on how each broker handles daylight-saving time). There is no way for the EA to guess that offset automatically: it has to be calibrated once, live, against your own broker.
4.2 How to calculate your own value, step by step
- With the EA already running on live or demo, wait until a known calendar news item approaches (for example, a 14:30 New York time release such as the US CPI, whose exact UTC time you can confirm on any reference online economic calendar such as Investing.com or ForexFactory).
- Note the EXACT time in UTC/GMT of that news according to the reference source.
- Look in the “Experts” tab of the terminal for the message that XAULUX AI prints when it blocks for that news (“XAULUX AI Calendar: blocking for news — [currency] [impact] [name] – [time]”), and note the time shown in that message — that is the time the EA is using after applying the current offset.
- Compare: if the time shown by the EA is AHEAD of the real UTC time of the event, reduce (make more negative) the value of CalendarGMTOffsetHours. If it is BEHIND, increase it (make it more positive).
- Adjust the value in 0.5-hour increments and repeat the check with the next known news item until the time shown by the EA matches the real time of the event.
A value of +2 ADDS 2 hours to the server time before comparing it with the calendar; a value of –2 SUBTRACTS them. The adjustment only affects calendar comparisons — it never touches trading hours, Friday close, or any other part of the EA that already uses server time correctly.
4.3 Indicative values by server time zone
The following list is only indicative — it serves as a starting point, but the only reliable value is the one you calculate yourself following the method in section 4.2, because every broker may synchronise its server differently, even within the same nominal time zone.
- Spain, Portugal, France, Germany, Italy, Netherlands, Belgium (CET/CEST — GMT+1/+2): –0.5 (EA factory default)
- United Kingdom, Ireland, mainland Portugal on GMT (GMT/BST — GMT+0/+1): approx. +0.5 (one hour less difference than Central Europe)
- US East Coast — New York (EST/EDT — GMT–5/–4): approx. +5.5 to +6.5 (depends on whether the broker is already on daylight-saving time)
- US West Coast, servers on PST/PDT (GMT–8/–7): approx. +8.5 to +9.5
- Eastern Europe (EET/EEST — GMT+2/+3): Greece, Romania, Finland: approx. –1.5
- Cyprus, offshore-broker servers on fixed GMT+2 (no DST): variable — calibrate live using the method above
Spain (and the rest of Central Europe on CET/CEST) uses –0.5 as the factory default of the EA, already calibrated on typical brokers for that zone. If your broker is in another time zone, start from the list above and fine-tune with the live calibration method.
5. INSTALLATION GUIDE — TELEGRAM MESSAGING
XAULUX AI can notify you directly on Telegram when it opens or closes trades, and — most importantly — when the geopolitical RSS filter or the economic calendar detects a high-impact news item that may affect gold, including war news or military escalations in the zones monitored by the system. Follow these steps once to activate it.
5.1 Authorise the necessary URLs (WebRequest)
MetaTrader 5 blocks, for security reasons, any network connection an EA tries to make, unless you explicitly authorise each domain. XAULUX AI needs permission to connect to two services: the BBC news feed and the Telegram API.
- Open MetaTrader 5 and go to Tools → Options.
- Go to the “Expert Advisors” tab.
- Tick the box “Allow WebRequest for listed URL”.
- Add, one per line, these two exact URLs: https://feeds.bbci.co.uk and https://api.telegram.org — both also appear printed, ready to copy and paste, in the “Experts” tab of the terminal as soon as the EA starts, and as the values of the corresponding fields on the Inputs tab of the EA.
- Click OK. There is no need to restart the terminal, but you do need to remove and re-attach the EA to the chart if it was already running.
If you do not authorise these URLs, the EA will continue trading completely normally — a network failure never blocks trading — but you will not be able to receive news alerts via Telegram and the RSS filter will not be able to download the feed. The EA panel will show “ERROR WebRequest” in that case, as a warning that this step is missing.
5.2 How to find your Telegram Chat ID
Telegram, by design, does not allow any bot to write to a person who has never written to it first (this is an anti-spam measure of the platform itself, not something that can be avoided from the EA). Therefore the real minimum process is: open the bot, write to it once, and copy your chat identifier (Chat ID) — a number that identifies your specific conversation with that bot.
- Open Telegram and search for the bot @userinfobot (or any equivalent bot that shows your Chat ID, such as @myidbot).
- Press “Start” or write any message to it.
- The bot will reply automatically with your information, including an “Id” field — that number (it can be negative if it is a group, positive if it is a personal chat) is your Chat ID.
- Copy that exact number, without spaces or additional symbols.
5.3 Activate the alerts: talk to the XAULUX AI bot
- Search in Telegram for the official XAULUX AI bot (the exact name of the bot will be provided by the seller).
- Press “Start” or simply write “hello” — this first message is what enables the bot to reply to you later, according to Telegram’s own anti-spam rule explained above.
- Open the EA properties in MetaTrader 5 (double-click on XAULUX AI on the chart, or right-click → Properties), go to the “Inputs” tab, and paste your Chat ID (obtained in step 5.2) into the TelegramChatID field.
- Confirm that the UseTelegramAlerts switch is set to TRUE (it comes activated by default).
- Click OK. From this moment on, the bot will automatically send you messages when: the EA opens a position, when it closes the complete basket (by Take Profit, global trailing, or another closing system), and — the most important alert — when the economic calendar or the RSS filter detects a high-impact or war-related news item that affects gold and, where applicable, when that news starts and stops blocking the opening of new trades.
The bot token is integrated into the EA by the developer — you do not need to create your own bot in @BotFather or manage any token. Your only step is to write “hello” once and paste your Chat ID.
6. VISUAL PANEL ON THE CHART
In addition to the Telegram messages, the EA draws an information panel directly on the chart (activatable with the “Info” input) that shows in real time: balance, equity, open P&L and drawdown, number of positions and lot size, status of every filter, status of the profit-protection systems, and — optionally, activatable separately — two additional panels with the full headline of the last news item that blocked trading (both from the MT5 calendar and from the BBC RSS) and the breakdown by geopolitical severity level detected in the last scan.
7. DATA PROTECTION
Your account data, your Telegram Chat ID and any personal configuration you enter into the EA are for your exclusive use and are not shared with third parties or with the seller. The Chat ID is used only locally, inside your own MT5 terminal, so that the Telegram bot knows which conversation to send your own alerts to — in no case is it centralised or forwarded to any external database by the system.
8. RISKS OF TRADING — MANDATORY READING
Trading leveraged financial instruments, including gold (XAUUSD) via CFDs or similar products, carries a significant risk of capital loss and is not suitable for all investors.
- Past performance does not guarantee future results.
- Never invest capital that you cannot afford to lose. It is recommended to trade first on a demo account for long enough to understand the system’s behaviour before trading with real money, and to consult an independent financial adviser if you have doubts about the suitability of this product for your situation.
- This document is informative about the technical functioning of the product and does not constitute financial advice.
