PatternX Liquidity Sweep EA
PatternX Liquidity Sweep EA is an automated trading tool for XAUUSD on the M5 chart. It looks for a sweep of a locked market-structure level, a reclaim and a subsequent confirmation candle before opening a two-leg position.
How it works
1. The EA identifies recent market structure and locks the active high or low.
2. It waits for price to sweep the locked level by the configured buffer.
3. The sweep candle must reclaim the level and pass configured range, close and rejection-wick quality checks.
4. A confirmation candle must break the sweep candle in the intended direction.
5. The EA opens two legs with the configured stop loss and take-profit management.
Default profile
The supplied default profile is designed for XAUUSD M5 and hedged MT5 accounts. It uses a broker-time trading window from 01:00 to 21:00, a spread filter and a Friday SELL-entry block.
Risk and management
The default profile uses risk-based volume with a total 2.0% risk target per signal. It uses a 1000-point stop loss and a 1000-point first take profit. After TP1, the remaining leg is protected with a break-even lock and a stepped trailing stop. Actual order volume, margin, spread and execution depend on the broker and account.
Recommended balance
For the supplied default risk-based profile, an account balance of USD 500 or the equivalent in the account currency is recommended. On smaller accounts, the calculated volume can be below the broker minimum. In that case, the default profile skips the signal instead of increasing volume above the configured risk target.
Setup
1. Attach the EA to an XAUUSD M5 chart.
2. Enable Algo Trading.
3. Load the supplied profile or configure the inputs manually.
4. Test on a demo account first and choose risk appropriate for the account.
