Account Lens is a professional-grade account monitoring indicator for MetaTrader 4 that transforms the way traders stay informed about their account health during live sessions. Instead of squinting at the tiny account toolbar at the bottom of your terminal or switching windows mid-trade to check your numbers, Account Lens opens a fully independent, dedicated popup chart window that expands to fill your screen and displays your six most critical account metrics in giant, ultra-readable text — Balance, Equity, Margin, Free Margin, Margin Level, and Net Closed Profit. Everything you need to know about the state of your account is visible at a glance, from across the room if necessary.
The dashboard is built for clarity above everything else. The interface uses a deep near-black background with oversized bold fonts sized at 36 points by default — large enough to be read instantly without leaning toward your monitor. Positive net profit lights up in bright green, negative profit burns red, and all other values stay in clean white, giving you an immediate emotional read on your session performance without processing any numbers consciously. There are no charts, no candles, no noise — just the six numbers that matter, presented on a pure dark canvas that feels like a purpose-built trading instrument rather than a bolted-on widget.
Under the hood, Account Lens refreshes every 500 milliseconds using MetaTrader 4's millisecond timer, meaning the values you see are never more than half a second behind reality. Net Closed Profit is calculated with full accuracy by looping through your entire order history and summing the profit, swap, and commission for every closed market order — so the figure you see reflects your true session result, not just gross profit before costs. The popup window is completely independent of your host chart and can be placed on a second monitor, making it an ideal companion screen for traders who run a dedicated account-health display alongside their main trading setup.
Installation takes under a minute. Drag the indicator onto any chart, and the dashboard window appears immediately. No DLLs, no external dependencies, no configuration required out of the box. For traders who want to fine-tune the experience, the indicator exposes full input controls for font size, background colour, profit colour, and loss colour — allowing the dashboard to match any personal or desk aesthetic. When you remove the indicator or close the terminal, all objects are cleaned up automatically with zero trace left behind.
