Long and Short Squeeze Gold M15 — Gold Two-Way Trend Squeeze Expert Advisor
This is a trend-following EA for Gold (XAUUSD) exclusively designed for MetaTrader 5. It captures both long and short trading opportunities simultaneously on the M15 timeframe to profit from both bull and bear markets. The strategy is built around the golden cross and death cross of the 50-period and 200-period moving averages, combined with ADX for trend strength judgment, RSI for direction confirmation and ATR for volatility-based risk control. It enters trades in the prevailing trend after the trend "squeeze" breaks out, aiming to earn swing profits from gold trading with a favorable risk-reward ratio. Taking the six-month backtest result as an example: with an initial deposit of 10,000 USD and a lot size of 0.05, the net profit reached 6,108.15 USD. It delivers a high risk-reward ratio, with an average single trade profit of 489.62 USD and an average single trade loss of 184.04 USD. Traders can adjust the lot size according to their own situation, and the maximum drawdown is only 10%. Seize every market movement.
### Strategy Logic
- Long Entry: The fast moving average crosses above the slow moving average (golden cross), and ADX > 23 (adjustable).
- Short Entry: The fast moving average crosses below the slow moving average (death cross), and ADX > 23.
- Filters: Rising ADX reading, price staying on the same side of the slow moving average, minimum gap between the two moving averages, and RSI direction confirmation.
- Exit Rules: Close positions upon the reverse moving average crossover; ATR-based stop loss (4×ATR) and take profit (16×ATR); Trailing stop (step size: 2×ATR) activates once the profit reaches 8×ATR.

### User Guide
1. Drag and drop the EA onto the XAUUSD M15 chart.
2. Enable auto-trading.
3. Load the recommended .set parameter file or configure settings manually.
4. It is recommended to conduct a 2-week test on a demo account before live trading.
