A clean pass is required at every check.
5. Cost Validation — The Transaction Cost Engine models the full round-trip cost: spread + commission (auto-detected from deal history) + expected slippage (from rolling session average) + swap. Three gates: minimum net edge, maximum spread ratio vs historical baseline, maximum cost-to-gross ratio. If the trade costs more than it can reasonably earn — it is blocked, not reduced.
6. Execution Quality Gate — The Slippage Intelligence Layer tracks entry slippage per session (London, NY, Overlap, Off-Peak, Tokyo). High-slippage or high-latency environments trigger entry suppression. Execution quality is classified: NORMAL / DEGRADED (lots halved) / CRITICAL (all entries blocked).
