  2. Personal Remote Monitoring Retail traders can link the EA to their personal WhatsApp number. This allows you to monitor your MT5 account's performance, open positions, floating profit, and risk levels from your mobile device via WhatsApp while away from the trading desk.

    • Show/Hide Ticket Numbers

    • Show/Hide Lot Sizes (Volume)

    • Show/Hide Stop Loss and Take Profit prices

    • Show/Hide Net Profit on closed trades

  • Automated Reporting & Risk Alerts

    • Advanced Daily Report: At a user-defined hour, the EA generates a comprehensive summary of the day's performance sent to WhatsApp. This includes total closed trades, net daily profit, current floating P/L, and a list of all active/closed trades.

    • Account Status Updates: Sends periodic updates containing the current Balance, Equity, and Margin Level at a set interval (e.g., every 60 minutes).

    • Risk Management Alerts: Monitors account health and sends emergency warnings if Floating Drawdown exceeds a specified percentage, or if the Margin Level drops below a defined safety threshold.

Setup Requirements & Installation

To connect MT5 to WhatsApp, you must use the specialized desktop bridge application.

How to connect in MT5:

  1. Configure Local Bridge Access: In MetaTrader 5, go to Tools → Options → Expert Advisors. Tick "Allow WebRequest for listed URL:" and add [http://127.0.0.1:5010](http://127.0.0.1:5010) to the list.Note: This step is mandatory for MT5's security model. Without it, the EA cannot communicate with the local WhatsApp bridge application.

  2. Link WhatsApp Account: Ensure you have the required desktop bridge application running. Open the app and follow the prompts to link your desired WhatsApp account.

  3. Configure the EA Inputs: Attach the EA to an MT5 chart. In the Inputs tab, locate the WhatsApp Settings:

    • Paste the target ID into the WhatsApp_Target_ID parameter.

      • For a phone number, use the format: 1234567890@s.whatsapp.net

      • For a group, use the specific Group JID format.

  4. Confirm Connection: Click OK to run the EA. Hit the Send Test Message button on the on-chart dashboard to confirm your setup is active and you receive the message on WhatsApp.
