HMR Detector EA is a risk-protection Expert Advisor designed for MetaTrader 5. Its primary objective is to continuously monitor the margin requirements imposed by the broker and detect situations where the broker suddenly increases the required margin for open positions. Such situations can occur during major news events, market volatility, weekends, or broker-side leverage changes. The EA attempts to identify these abnormal margin increases and automatically take protective actions before the trader's account faces a margin call or stop-out.
The EA works by comparing the margin calculated by the MetaTrader terminal with the actual margin currently blocked by the broker's server. It then calculates a multiplier that represents how much higher the real margin requirement is compared to the expected margin. If this multiplier exceeds a predefined threshold (1.5x), the EA assumes that a High Margin Requirement (HMR) condition has been triggered and immediately activates its protection mechanism.

When HMR is detected, the EA can perform one of the following actions:
1. No Action Mode
- Only displays alerts.
- Does not modify any trades.
- Suitable for traders who want manual control.
2. Hedge Mode (Default)
- Calculates net market exposure.
- Opens an opposite trade of equal size.
- Reduces directional market risk.

- Buy 3 Lots EURUSD
HMR Detected:
- EA opens Sell 3 Lots EURUSD
Result:
- Net exposure becomes approximately zero.
3. Close Mode
- Closes all open positions on the current symbol.
- Removes market exposure completely.
- Prevents further margin pressure.
Example:
Open Trades:
- Buy 2 Lots
- Buy 1 Lot
- Sell 0.5 Lot
HMR Detected:
- All positions are closed automatically.
