Measurer of Positions

An on-chart pre-trade planning panel that calculates and displays risk, lot size, and potential outcomes for three ATR-based targets (TP1 / TP2 / TP3) across ten risk-percentage profiles. It shows live spread, point or pip value, total cost (spread + commission + swap), stop-loss exposure, and the resulting dollar and percentage outcomes for each risk level. The panel is drawn entirely with chart objects, remains responsive to window size, and supports both points and pips mode.

Limitations

  • The panel is static once drawn; it does not place, modify, or manage orders.
  • Calculations assume the current bid/ask and ATR values; they do not forecast future volatility or slippage.
  • Swap and commission inputs must be entered manually if the broker’s reported values differ from the defaults.
  • On very small chart windows the layout can still become tight even with the spacing inputs.
  • The indicator removes the price and time scales while it is attached; they return only after the indicator is removed.
  • It is a planning tool only. Final risk decisions remain with the trader.
