PolarLock Pilot: Take Command of Your Trade Direction — Instantly.
Description
PolarLock Pilot is a precision direction-control system for MetaTrader 5 that puts you in complete command of which way your trades are allowed to move on any chart. It does not open trades. Instead, it acts as a permanent gatekeeper for the symbol it is attached to, giving you three simple on-chart controls: Buy Only, Sell Only, and Allow All. Whichever mode you select becomes law for that chart until you change it.
The moment you switch modes, PolarLock Pilot immediately closes any open position that violates the new direction. If you are running BUY ONLY and a SELL position exists, whether you opened it manually or another EA opened it, it is closed without delay. The same protection applies continuously in the background: every tick, every trade event, and a dedicated high-frequency safety timer all check the chart for unauthorized positions and shut them down the instant they appear. This is not a one-time filter. It is a live, standing guard that never stops watching your symbol.
This makes PolarLock Pilot especially valuable for traders who run multiple automated strategies on the same account and want a hard directional boundary that no individual EA can override. It is equally useful for discretionary traders who have a strong directional bias for the day or week and want a mechanical safeguard against accidentally taking a trade against their own plan, whether that trade comes from a shaky hand on the manual order panel or an EA glitch. Prop firm traders who must respect strict directional rules during evaluation phases will find it acts as an automatic compliance layer, removing the human error factor entirely.
Full control is placed in your hands through a clean set of inputs. You decide whether manual trades are controlled, whether trades from other EAs are controlled, and whether enforcement applies only to the current chart symbol or more broadly. You can set the initial direction on chart attachment, tune how aggressively the EA retries a close if the first attempt fails, and adjust how often the background safety check runs. The panel itself is fully repositionable, with configurable corner, offset, button size, and font size, so it fits neatly into your existing chart layout without overlapping indicators or other panels.
The on-chart panel was designed to be genuinely usable in live trading conditions, not just decorative. The active mode is clearly highlighted in a distinct color so you always know your current setting at a glance, even across multiple monitors. A live status line beneath the buttons confirms in plain language exactly what is being blocked. There is no ambiguity about what state your account is in.
PolarLock Pilot does not place trades, does not manage stop loss or take profit, and does not interfere with your strategy's entry logic. Its entire purpose is narrow and precise: enforce a permitted trading direction and remove anything that does not belong. That focus is what makes it reliable. It has one job, and it performs that job continuously, quickly, and without exception.
Whether you are protecting a directional bias, enforcing prop firm rules, coordinating multiple EAs on one account, or simply want a fail-safe against opening the wrong side of the market by mistake, PolarLock Pilot gives you a dependable, always-on layer of directional discipline.
