Trailing Stop Manager MT5

Trailing Stop Manager MT5 is a flexible trade management utility for MetaTrader 5 that automatically moves the Stop Loss as price moves in your favor.

It is designed for traders who want to protect profits and manage open positions automatically while keeping control over how and which positions are managed.

The manager currently includes two trailing methods:

• Standard Trailing Stop
• Fractals Trailing Stop

It also includes a compact trading panel for opening, managing and closing trades directly from the chart.

Standard Trailing Stop

Standard trailing is controlled by three main parameters:

Trailing Start — defines the profit distance at which trailing begins.

Trailing Distance — defines the distance maintained between the current price and Stop Loss.

Trailing Step — defines the minimum price movement required before the Stop Loss is updated again.

This mode provides a traditional distance-based trailing stop with full control over when trailing starts and how closely the Stop Loss follows price.

Fractals Trailing Stop

Fractals mode automatically moves the Stop Loss according to the latest confirmed fractal.

For Buy positions, the Stop Loss follows confirmed Lower Fractals.

For Sell positions, the Stop Loss follows confirmed Upper Fractals.

Only confirmed fractals are used, helping avoid trailing based on a fractal that has not yet been fully formed.

Fractals mode provides two additional settings:

Fractal Timeframe — select the timeframe used to calculate fractals. It can be the current chart timeframe, a higher timeframe or a lower timeframe.

Fractal Offset — place the Stop Loss at a configurable distance from the fractal level.

The offset supports positive, zero and negative values and can be specified in Points or Pips.

This makes it possible to trail positions using market structure instead of a fixed distance from the current price.

Position Filters

Trailing Stop Manager can manage only the positions you select.

Available filters include:

• Current Symbol or All Symbols
• All Magic Numbers or Selected Magic Number
• Buy positions, Sell positions or All positions

The same filters are available for both Standard and Fractals trailing modes.

This makes it possible to use different instances of the manager for different symbols, strategies or groups of positions.

Built-in Trading Panel

Trades can be opened directly from the chart using the integrated panel.

The panel provides:

• Buy
• Sell
• Close managed positions
• Adjustable Lot Size
• Stop Loss
• Take Profit

The manager can work with positions opened from its own panel as well as existing positions that match the selected filters.

The panel automatically displays the parameters relevant to the currently selected trailing mode.

Points and Pips

Distance parameters can be configured in Points or Pips.

This applies to Standard Trailing Stop parameters as well as Fractal Offset.
