Nothing serious will happen if Bortnikov or his children cannot go to England. They will have a holiday in Sochi.
(We are discussing this from the point of view of trade only - buy or sell).
Well I do not see that on this news it would be possible to enter Sberbank to buy or sell.
Unless PSB shares could be sold - on this news.
Well, we'll see tomorrow
"It's all very long term." Bovt on new sanctions against Russia
How can we assess the first package of sanctions against Russia and why the confrontation between Russia and the West has moved to a new qualitative stage?
The US,the EU, the UK and Canada have introduced the first packages of sanctions against Russia because of therecognition of the DNR and LNR. They are related to the state debt, blocking the accounts and assets of a number of banks. In addition, personal sanctions have been imposed on businessmen and MPs of the State Duma. And Germanyhas so farsuspended the certification of Nord Stream-2.
Political analyst Georgy Bovt comments on the imposition of new sanctions against Russia:
p.s.
If it's really serious, you just have to be a bear in the market for all this "long" time
p.s,
Germany will certify gas volumes when they start to fall short. That does not apply to a comfortable winter temperature in your own home.
MPs will rest in Sochi or Turkey - the sanctions are like banning them from reading the Little Red Riding Hood.
Some banks are PSB? No one has ever been interested in its shares - well, this is ridiculous.

German authorities have decided to stop the certification process for Russia's Nord Stream 2 gas pipeline. This was announced by Chancellor Olaf Scholz. His words were quotedby TASS.
He said he had instructedthe Ministry of Economics to appeal to the regulator. "Today I have asked the Federal Ministry of Economics to withdraw the energy security report from the Federal Network Agency," the chancellor specified. Scholz pointed out that this is "a necessary step so that the certification of the pipeline cannot now take place".
Ukrainian President Zelenskyy said on the eve that Nord Stream 2 must be stopped altogether.
Earlier, Russian PresidentVladimir Putin signed decrees recognizing the independence of the Donetsk and Luhansk people's republics (DNR and LNR), as well as treaties on friendship, cooperation and mutual assistance with the republics. After this, US PresidentJoe Biden signed a decree on new sanctions following Russia's recognition of the Donetsk and Luhansk people's republics' independence.
New investments by US individuals and legal entities in the DNR and LNR, export, sale or supply from the US or by US citizens of any goods, services or technologies to the Donbas republics are banned.
Give you a little will, and what? Are we going to have a political argument?
Unfortunately, the stock and futures markets are directly dependent on political events.
And guys may have a different opinion, and that is where the "political debate" takes place.

Why is there a need for "dry news" in a trading and programming forum?
Like bunnies - to reprint Rambler?
This is not a Russian forum
Yes, exactly dry news - that's how such news has a big impact on the stock price.
I've cleaned up the thread this time, next time I'll clean it up along with the characters.

And guys can have different opinions, so the "political debate" arises.

Keep your opinions to yourself. Here are the important fundamental events affecting the market. No personal evaluation. And there will be order in the thread.
